Might have to consider a large 235/85/R16 on the 99. I know those 255/85R16 Toyos measure almost 33.5" while I think the Cooper is under 33". I just can't get over the cost on 255/85R16. And I can't justify 17s when I have like 5 sets of 16s sitting around. Really need to scrap most of them.

It’s pretty fantastic. Some stouts leave me with a weird sour aftertaste but this is pretty clean.

Yep, you're right on with the measurements.

I do like 16s for the big ass sidewall...

Personally it makes me want to commit heinous crimes, but it looks like an excellent start to a bumper

I'm just digging the whole 'less is more' look...and seeing those Dobinsons once I get them will look good.

I don’t like how they did the turn signals, and it would look a lot better if it extended to the sides, even if it’s pretty low profile

Remember you'll be stock height so you might just leave things hanging low and looking weird. These guys are on big tires and larger lifts

Turn signals are below the headlights; those yellow square pods are like fogs or something.

Previous owner put slim fogs on mine :jerkoff:

    Yeah.

Was just an idea, but yeah it'll look funky.

I think you should buy that center bumper thing, which has done the hard work of initial fitup and winch housing and then build wings for it. Bet you'd come out on top price wise and it would be easy to do with scrap

    Oof.

if a 98 frame popped up I’d be happier. But meh. The 98 will get a 96 frame.
