There was really no other options. The one I went to was still a 40 min drive.

Got the rear vf/j case done tonight. Just have to paint/mount crossmember and swap plugs. Anyone from the east coast who decides to swap cases, buy a nice clean one and pay more money. Spent about 6 hours taking apart, cleaning, wire brushing and reassembling and it's still looks like shit. I prob would have paid $600 for a nice shiny cali unit shipped to me. Stock-ish
I run a 2 piece for the same reasons Slander posted and have no issues with it shortened up another 9 inches or so from stock and running an offset FZJ80 rear axle. I’ve never had it get into the rocks at all

tcase looks nice and clean now. Funny enough I have a Cali tcase and ain’t nothing shiny about it. Didn’t even cross my mind to clean it either :D:rofl:
    What is that second picture?

Used to look like this one bottom of pic. That is a dual case crossmember. Have to put that on with the top of case. Bolts on with the t case housing bolts. cases.jpg

Interesting, haven’t seen that before. Where will it be supported once attached to the tcase

Gotta offer it up any chance I get! Not too many folks out there who have a need for it. Hard part to re-sell.
