Nice. The roll bar and lift reminds me of the back to the future truck. Those short wheel bases have to be nice to get around in. I had a single cab little Jeep Comanche for awhile and it felt like the perfect size.

I have looked through this entire thread so many times trying to get inspiration for new rims. Can't decide what color I wanna do.

I see a lot of you have caps/shells.....who wants to sell one?

Doesn't hurt to ask right. Lol

No surprise, but my super white started flaking in the same spot on both drivers and passenger side window sil's.

Thank's @theolee for the idea to vinyl wrap the b pillar like the 3rd gens. Although I prefer the look without the wrap, I prefer the wrap to the paint flake so the lesser of 2 evils.

Out of curiosity I got a quote of $400 from a local shop to have this done, but I'm pretty sure that was the fuck you price. $15 in vinyl off Amazon and a half dozen "goddammits" and its done. Not perfectly but good enough for now.

I like your creative solution. Did you document the DIY vinyl application process in a thread here? If not, can you reply with a link to the vinyl? Thanks!

Bought my 2005 DCLB last September. So, far I've just added the Snugtop as far as exterior mods go. Had to rip apart the entire Interior due to a 3rd brake light leak and nasty, moldy rear seats, so quite a few improvements to the interior. But, hoping to cross more than a few mods off my to-do list as 2022 goes on.

Mostly use our 2007 Tacoma for exploring the deserts and mountains of San Diego.
Dakar leafs (8) in back to accommodate the weight of the ATC camper.
Slow going but it gets us there. ;-)
