Greased the camburg uca’s and put some Amazon grip tape on the sliders. Been part of the truck sittin there on a battery tender crew for the last 2 months.

 

Mine is from 1989 when I was working at Hughes Aircraft. That was a great company. I learned a ton and met some very sharp people. Some I am still friends with today.

Finished the elbow mod, removed all the ABS stuff from the engine compartment and put in new hard lines.

Man, the fitup on the TG frame box plates is trash

 

I bet they fit one frame flawlessly.

 

That sucks. Mine fit really well.

 

One side of mine fit okay and the other looked like @betterbuckleup plate

Yea the other side isn't as bad. Passenger side is the worst of the two. Still not great though.

Gonna be fun trying to fill a damn near 1/4" gap....

 

My passenger side was the bad one as well.

I did do that project like 6 years ago, so that probably explains the better fit up, and less f'd frame.

Yes, they're designed to tie into that boxed section above the shackle hanger.
