Something to read if you feel bored, I wonder if 5 seater going to be an option on SR5 trim later on. That third row seats are useless unless you are 5' 2"

    Well boys, I did it.

    I have changed careers!

For 20 years I have done IT for a small software development company, being a Systems Administrator. Feels like I wasted 20 years. :bananadead:

    Time for a change!!!11111

Goodyear has hired me to work in North Bay at the Goodyear Retread plant. They resurface industrial size tires.

No more computers or IT in my 9-5, onto something new!

Wheelbase remained the same, so the new design indeed has less steering angle. Not a good thing for the trails.

Well for the “trails” that you are expected to go to it’s absolutely fine. For any serious rock crawling that we do, cutting breaks is an easy solution :burnrubber:.

Toyota branding itself with overland rather than off-road crowd, more money to make off the IT and office people wanting to go glamping vs red necks that slap questionable metal pieces together and chop frame and demand it must be less of a McDonald’s burger cost. :duh:

At least we can now exclude @llamasmurf from the "IT and office people" category

Also interesting to see a tall 3.30 axle ratio on both the 2021 and 2022 models.

    Yes yes it is.

They have benefits, a pension plan, continuous pay scale increases with job evolutions.

All things I have NEVER had. I am looking forward to an actual proper work environment.

I have heard the same thing, lots of career changing going on lately.

Best of luck to you on your call back!

Being alone at home, or in the office can be pretty boring. Gives you lots of time to think about what else there can be.

For the last 2 years, I have worked alone in an office. Everyone else has worked from home.

Gets boring fast not talking or interacting with anyone. That is only 1 of the reasons I am moving on.

I just moved from piecework with shitty schedule to mon-fri 8-5 with a different role but at the same place. I feel like it's a new job and it's a relief so I kinda get it.
