I like the concept, I'd probably add some small wings under the headlights or something to make it a little more finished

The all-new 2023 Sequoia will be built on the same fully boxed frame architecture that will underpin the 2022 Tundra and 2022 Land Cruiser 300/2022 Lexus LX 600. Although the Land Cruiser won’t make it to North America, the other three Toyota body-on-frame vehicles on this platform will.

We like things bigger in America, so instead of the Land Cruiser, we’re getting the third-generation, three-row 2023 Sequoia TRD Pro full-size SUV. It won’t feel as nimble off-road or around the city, but on paper, it looks to have all the right ingredients of a truly formidable adventure machine.

Willing to bet the TRD trim is going to be close in price to an LX600

I wonder if the C4 Fab bumper that we just saw on the Tundra will work on the Sequoia.

    I have mods
I ran like that for a little bit on the 4runner while building my front Coastal. That's all that is, an unfinished Coastal Fab front bumper. You can start with that and decide if you want to add wings later, either using the normal plate or going with tube, making it a hybrid.

I think the 1st Gen Sequoias with the Limited package (has more 4x4 options) will grow in popularity. Maybe they will get some aftermarket support. The sales numbers for the 1st gens went off the chart the year after they came out. LC sales numbers dropped the year following the Sequoia introduction.

What killed the LC? US Sales numbers indicate it was the Sequoia.

I haven’t looked at em side-by-side but possible? It all makes me wonder what the new 4Runner and Tacoma will be.
I’ve been really considering getting a 5th gen TRDOR Runner.

I’ve seen one built 1st Sequoia around town here and one modern gen one (with what appears to be an LT kit on it) But that’s it. More Cruisers and non Toyota built trucks have been popping up though.

There was an LT 1st gen Sequoia on Craigslist here a few months ago. It did look cool, but it also made me think: "Why?". It seems like a lot of money and effort to end up with something no more capable than a lightly-modified 4Runner or Land Cruiser. Are they better than I realize?

    4 run, 2 don't
That's kind of the way I looked at it.

I can always DIY the rest myself, it's just the initial look and all of that frontal piece that I can't replicate (no plasma table).

    Thanks guys :fistbump:

Yeah I can't figure it out. He zooms it around town though.
    They're also seriously gigantic.

Just a heavier 1st gen Tundy with rear coils and no bed. They did have a manual jshift transfer case option I think.

I guess if you want a full-size truck but don't need the bed it works...

We have a highly lifted Sequoia in my LC OR group. He can keep up with the best of us and has more ground clearance. Also the automation mirrors that fold in like an LX so it can get through tight trails without a hassle.
