Home improvement projects gets my vote. The house steals from the truck, tools and guns funds.

But... remember, every $1K invested in Milwaukee can reduce the cost of said household improvement project by up to $500!!!!!

Absolutely! I’ve definitely made my money back on tools…. except the weed wacker, it costs me $15 every time I send the kid out the door with it.

Just spoke with the Milwaukee Rep and store manager at my local HD. Many in-store blowouts coming to get rid of excess holiday inventory to make room for new products. That's why that framer I picked up was so cheap. It was a one day only price/sale. It's on a store by store basis.

I had the same problem, every time I picked up a tool it needed the battery charged... Bought a combo pack 3.0CP and 6.0XC for $89 around mid-December :yay:

Now I have 1 more battery than tools, so I always have one of some size on the charger waiting for me fully charged.

Seriously tho. I drilled out 5 wood doorknob holes with a fully charged 1.5 with a m12 fuel hammer drill and it was barely made it through the last one.

Then cut like a dozen 1/2” copper tubes with a fully charged 1.5ah and it was done. These 1.5ah are staying at home from now on.

The 1.5s have their place; I like them for my flashlight, and my little M12 driver. They're also handy for the ratchets when space is an issue.

12 cuts? That sounds extra ordinarily weak. Maybe it's croaking. I get 25+ cuts easy with my 1.5. And that is thick wall tube.

I do agree in general. Love me some 6.0A

What tool is he using? Not all the tools use the power the same. If you're using the porta-band and he is using a tubing cutter...

I use them for backups or when I need to use a tool in a tight space. They have their place.

I have the tubing cutter. It's old, bought in 2010 or so. It was the only M12 tool I owned for years. Still works fine. We cut sections for bike engine exhausts, pre expansion chamber

Agreed. They are great for the ratchets and I love them in my rover (or any tools that utilize magnets). The bigger batts are too heavy for most magnetic tools to stick very well...
