    Sergey confirmed this to me too.....I even contemplated going back to Android for this and many other "not a fan of iOS" reasons. But yea he told me the same thing. Headunit reloaded was the way to go if you're and android person.

    I made one call and it went well still a little distant but Eric is sending me the harness for the mic so hopefully that helps. I hope it doesn’t break up anymore

    Have you tied the mic loop back in zlink settings? I’m not sure what loop back is but maybe it will help?

    Has anyone got this mic adapter? Does it go to the open port on back of the radio or a wire off one of the harnesses?

    The plug looks like one that goes into the back of the unit itself and if its like the others it will only fit in a specific spot……just look for the one thats the same

    The zlink update seems pretty solid I’ve been running it for the week and no issues. My calls seem to be not breaking up. Hopefully this mic adapter will help out even more.

    Let me start by saying I am not very audio savvy. Please excuse either of my questions you find ignorant or just plain stupid. I am ready to pull the trigger on this unit, but I need clarification on a couple of things.

    · I have the T-Mobil SyncUp Drive unit to provide Wi-Fi inside my Tacoma. It connects through the ODB2 port. Will this provide Wi-Fi to the unit or will I still need to set up a hotspot through my phone.

    · How necessary is it to use Android Auto? I primary use Pandora and Sirius for my music and Google Maps for my navigation. Can’t I just download these apps on the unit directly and stream from there?

    When buying from alibaba or aliexpress you should contact/message them first. I find they always lower the price a little.
