    Its coming from my mac, it sounds like a chat notification, but I dont have any chat programs on and it does it randomly all day and night. Its like 3 tones.

    After enjoying a pretty good 20% growth on my TSP (government IRA) last year (25% in REDACTED first year, but that's really neither here nor there) it's down 10% just in this month. Why do I get the feeling that I know more about economics from being in the workforce for a few decades than the Fed does? Bunch of academics that have never actually been in the real world. Seems like they do things that are theoretically okay but things that everyone knows will be okay.

    well, ok if we call getting up early to go skiing or biking work, then yes i will work all the time.
