After work today I was
The second guy to do his task performance evaluation...well I instructed the first guy to make some changes so it wasn't aligned. What I didn't notice right away was that the changes I told him to make, the alignment couldn't be done without moving the stationary machine
I was being watched so I couldn't help him out...he finally figured it out but not without much struggle. All said and done he passed and so did I, but I also got a little coaching.
Came home and power nap hour and a half.
Woke up made breakfast for tomorrow and started on a list so I hopefully don't forget to pack anything for trip. Meds, contact lens, glasses, toof brush, etc, etc

 

The one I worked on was owned & operated by a Beer Co. …..and you’re absolutely right. I heard almost the same thing from a former World Champion I knew from back home.

 

i hated getting evals, so on active duty, as an instructor my supervisor was in back of the room doing my eval of task/ hr of course...so im doing my hour of "instruction/teaching" my supervisor interrups the eval, gets us off task, to which i get back on track and to teaching. Well i get my feed back and he marks me down for getting off track!

I was like wth!!! You were the one interrupting the class getting us off track!!! Hes like well you should have controlled the class more and kept on track, i was just like whatever man.... I didnt fail but that was stupid.

 

Yep. The coaching I got was that I was not allowed to apologize for the equipment set up in the manor it was, and make the comment, "your on the correct path now". Evaluator just said I should have let him just make the changes he needed to do and leave it at that. It's difficult for me to watch someone struggle, especially when I can tell they are feeling pressure and if they just took a step back and breath for a minute they probably figure it right out.
Glad that's over with. Also glad I was able to pass on the how to do it and the guys were appreciative of it too.

Morning crew. Tomorrow's Friday and I'm using half day of vacation. Getting everything ready to leave out early Saturday.

 

I can’t remember, you’re going out of town to do what again?

 

Fermi, a power station in Michigan is shutting down for maintenance and put some new fuel in the pot.

 

No telling what they'll have me working on. I try not to stir the pot to much...even at regular job.
We have plenty of going on already.
There are a couple, their primary jobs

 

Gotta go to the cancer center and have my port flush today.
