I don't think that's temp is correct !!! , I think that -6 reading is Celsius not Fahrenheit . So -6 Celsius is actually 42.8 deg Fahrenheit A much more realistic temp for that area in Arizona this time of year

Current temp there right now is 49° F

Actually Charlie is a moniker, a nickname my wife gave me before we got married. All her co-workers call me Charlie, even though that is not my actual name. Yeah, we do talk about the weather a good deal. We bullshit about other stuff too, like food, pets, kids, grandkids, wildlife, etc. Some of us no longer work so we have time to kill.

Sunny Cali probably doesn't have much temperature fluctuations.

 

I disagree, we go from 68° to 72° in the winter

Then 95° to 110° in the summer

 

Today's temperature here jumped from about -2 in the hours around dawn to about 32 for a projected high around 4 p.m. I have seen the temperatures change by about 40 degrees in a day. I think places in the Midwest are even more severe. Chuck, the high desert may take the cake for temperature fluctuations, yes?
