Tell me about it! When I put on my sliders I was using like 5 different sockets for old bolts/ new beefier bolts. I think I'm going to replace them one by one until they are all new.

Haha yeah! I have a mix on my skid plates and its super annoying. Have x2 ANSI spec m8 bolts, x2 m10 ANSI spec, and x2 m8 JIS bolts. I dread taking it off lol

My wheels are 7.5" wide with +13mm offset, so if my calculation is correct, 7.5" + 1" / 2 = 4.25 plus 13mm positive offset (about 1/2") is 4.75" BS. Previously I had been doing that in my head and coming up with 4.5 so I just realized I have 0.25" more backspace than I thought. That explains why Will's truck had more poke than mine (17x8.5 -10 offset, which equals 4.25 BS); his setup sticks out 0.5" more than mine (without spacers).

Edit: This is why I don't do my math in my head anymore...

Haha, math. I never do math in public. I use charts like this and say, "Close enough!" :D

    EDU_wheel-offset-backspacing-conversion-chart.jpg
Based on that (not sure if its universal, but probably not), I think you are damn close with your 4.75" calculation.

Edit: which explains why the -10 at 8.5 Ray10 is 4.30" for backspacing...-12 at 8.5 on that chart is 4.25 or about 2 mm off.

And why they use millimeters for offset and inches for wheel width and BS is beyond me. Pick one or the other, I don't care which!

Edit: thanks for the chart, I'm going to save that for reference

So not to drag this out, but going back to potentially moving my 3/4" spacers from the back to the front, I would only stick out 1/4" more than your old setup, which makes me think I stand a good chance of still not rubbing since you reportedly didn't rub.

Wish this guy had sold these a couple months ago, that's a phenomenal deal. Less than half off.

    Edit: Already sold of course!

Double edit: 17" tires, so they wouldn't have worked with my 16" rims

Agreed, but I'll let Randy be the deciding vote on that one, haha. I can also re-confirm that I didn't rub at all, even the few times I took the truck up to flagpole and taskers gap/peters mill. The fact that I didn't rub probably also had a lot to do with my SPC UCAs.

You’re correct that you have 4.75 BS, which means 2.75” front space. (7.5” wide wheel - 4.75” BS)

Will is at 4.36” BS which means 4.14” front space. (8.5” wide wheel - 4.36” BS)

4.14” - 2.75” = 1.39” more poke from the scs wheels versus your wheels.

So theoretically you could add a 1.39” spacer and be at the same exact poke as him.
