I haven’t tried it personally, but I remember looking into the Diode Dynamics one. They make a standard LED flasher and a “smart tap” one where you can customize hazard flash pattern, single tap lane change flashes, etc.

Now that I’m off work I can find the links. I believe our trucks use the CF18 flasher right?

    “Smart Tap” version: https://www.diodedynamics.com/smarttap-cf18-led-flasher-module.html
It says only works on the non-DTRL equipped trucks, idk if 08’s had that or not.

    Standard version: https://www.diodedynamics.com/cf18-lm449-led-turn-signal-flasher.html

I can’t say if either would fix your problem not have ever owned any of their products, but might be worth a try for a popular brand one.

Thanks, ya i think im gonna go with the standard version...not paying $80 for stuff i wont use... I technically do have DTRL because i wired in a 3 wire plug in and have the white as a DTRL and yellow turn. I dont think the 08 came with it stock but i liked the look

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

Yeah I’d agree, it’s hard to justify that much extra cost for a flasher module. Haha.

    Same crap everyone else got
Are you buying it for a big trip somewhere out west? If so, I'd wait til you get there and hit the FB market place or CL and buy it the day I land. The deals will be plentiful. In areas like Denver you could always find deals on top choice gear like skis and boards year around b/c so many people get new stuff all the time or they are places people are constantly moving to for short periods of time and want to sell their gear before they move.
Thats my suggestion if you're not planning on buying new.

There is a store called Gear Goat xchg Charlotte nc. It's one of those buy sell trade used outdoor gear places. When I was in there they had really good deals on snowboards. Plus all the other stuff like snow bibs, boots etc.

Sorry I started typing one reply and forgot to finish it. I have two good boards. A Burton and A Nitro. I can let you borrow them if you wanted to drop by on your way up 85. Another thing to mention is here in Hartwell the goodwill regularly has water skis, knee boards, life jackets, because it's right by the lake. So I bet thrift stores up in the mountains regularly have snow gear.

What size shoe do you wear? I have some that were the right size when I bought them, but my feet must have grown. It was painful the last time I went riding. I would guess these are somewhere between a 10 and 11, but will have to look. I think they are Burton, but haven't looked in a while.

Don’t be cheap with boots. Just like going cheap in running shoes. Nice bindings typically make getting in and out smoother too. I ended up buying goretex insulated socks for spring snowboarding. No regrets there either

I wear 12 shoes and then when we went a few weeks ago I had rented 12s for boots and they were pretty comfortable

That’s what I’ve heard, probably gonna get some decent BOA lacing burtons or something similar
