Cash is the only way you can buy Lottery tickets here. That needs to change. :angrygirl:

    That's probably a good thing.

There's a big difference in someone who occasionally buys a lottery ticket as a dream vs someone who is convinced they are on the verge of hitting it big and will sell anything to get another ticket.

I could see people getting themselves thousands of dollars in credit card debt pursuing that elusive Mega Ball.

    Why?

This only applies to debit cards and I don't use one for purchases.

    Why?

I don't use the debit card they issued as my atm card for anything except my bank's atms. It says home in a secure spot except when I'm explicitly going to the bank/atm.

I have strict rules I play by.

    1. No scratch-offs.
    2. Buy only when the jackpot is over $300 million on the major games and over $500,000 on the Fantasy 5
    3. Don't waste money on the rest.

I figure if God wants me to win I better have a ticket.

    Therein lies the difference.

If someone occasionally buys $5 in lottery tickets, they can probably afford a $5 dream.

One time when I was working in the office several of the folks went in to buy lottery tickets for the Mega/Power/Giga/Whatever Ball was coming up.

I think they ended up putting in around $50 each.

Needless to say they didn't win.

Come Monday they were all talking about it so of course I had to add my 2 cents "I spent $0 on lottery tickets and I got the same payout as you!" :D

For me it's all about the dream. I probably will never win but just thinking about it makes me happy and that's worth something.

She had the 'keep the change' program where they round up to the nearest dollar and deposit the difference into savings from checking. If she didn't have enough in checking to cover the round up, they'd process it anyway and charge an over draft fee.

Around the time my ex's info was stolen, a number of my coworkers who had BoA had their info stolen too.

    Behold, the McPlant
    [IMG]

Throughout the past month, participating locations sold about 70 McPlants per day. In comparison, the average McDonald's restaurant typically sells about 110 Big Macs each day, according to CNBC.

Market analyst Michael Lavery wrote in a note to clients on Tuesday that the test locations were selling about three times more McPlants than he initially expected. That's a pretty huge win for those advocating for more plant-based options at fast-food restaurants.

For now, the McPlant is available for a limited time at restaurants in Irving and Carrollton, Texas; Cedar Falls, Iowa; Jennings and Lake Charles, Louisiana; and El Segundo and Manhattan Beach, California. Starting February 14, McDonald's will roll out the McPlant at roughly 600 locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth and San Francisco Bay areas.

If they aren’t willing to work with you regarding fraudulent charges they likely aren’t very willing to work with you regarding things that matter to you. Overall customer service.

I've tried the impossible burger out of curiosity so I'm not against trying it but odds are it won't be a repeat order. They just don't taste good but maybe I'll get covid and lose my taste and it won't be an issue of taste :D

i’ve not had any fraudulent charges to my debit card, maybe cuz I refuse to use it, so there’s been nothing to work with them on…. Thus I simply don’t know their policy. Not really relevant.

Everything else I’ve done with them has had a sufficient customer service level.

    ^ Bingo.

I've never had an issue with my debit card because I've never used it as a debit card.
