I taught my son to fish and swim at the same time. Tied a rope on him and threw him in the swamp. Good bait fer them gators. He learned to swim really fast too.

The festivities begin at 12:20 sharp:eek:
The wife will be hauling my crying ass (literally) up to the doc quarters in her spiffy Honda Civic (shown below).
Also...I drank that stuff an hour and a half ago....nothing. I guess I'm not as full of shit as the folks around here lead themselves to believe.

    Looks out of my budget.
I meant to ask the other day about the white color vs black color buttons on those Icon springs. Do you thinks it's a different material? Only complaint I have after putting those add a leaf in, is the creaky noise. I'll get the weight off them later and put some lube in there...eventually.

That wasn't the only difference. The bolts that go through the shackles that keep the springs in place were larger. Almost as if Icon has 2 different suppliers/manufacturers for their add a leaf. Same part #.

As far as squeaks, it's likely 1 or 2 things. The leaf is rubbing the Icon shackle mentioned above. Or you didn't grind off the rear shackles from your original leafs. If you kept the overload, also have to grind off one of the overload shackles.

@tacotoe this is one of the shackles that I mentioned. If this was left on, it will for sure squeak.

I thought this was cute; I've never had a home warranty nor ever been a Fannie Mae customer.

I didn't keep the overload and I ground off the rivet and spring keeper/clip in the rear. I think it's just that pad rubbing a little. I didn't notice it until much later after install and it was cold, wet, rainy. Not even that loud and just when I get in or out of the truck lol
I'm not that fat for christ sakes

Thanks, yes I ground that bad boy off all the while eating sparks and molten metal.
Lucky didn't get anything in my eyes but I truly did buy a face shield right after that work.

Since I was thinking about it @Superdave1.0 , just enlisted the help of my wife and got underneath there and looked / listened and it seemed to be coming from the top of the shock mount. I don't believe I over tighten it:notsure:
Some silicone spray didn't offer any help. More to follow on that at a later date.
Thanks for your ideas just the same:fistbump:

Your welcome. I agree it’s not that exciting . The preps is a drag . Pound of prevention and all that.
I thought I would be able to eat a cow when I was done but couldn’t really eat that much after. A little weird I thought
