    Yes — I made a splitter for every kit specifically for people with puddle pods. See Step 9 in the instructions here. If you don’t have puddle pods you just throw the splitter away.

    That JST splitter I designed is really just intended for Stew’s specific puddle pod wiring so I don’t disturb it. I’m not entirely sure what he intends to do with the other pins running to his puddle pods since not all of them are used (maybe a future mod?). With that said, if you’re doing your own puddle lights there’s lighter weight ways of doing it. The harness is pretty modular with a different type of splitter :) Mod at your own risk — pay attention to the (tiny) wire gauge.

    It is honestly not bad at all. Just disconnect your battery and you are good to go. I like to hold the PTS and Brake to drain any residual charges, not sure if it actually works though. Driver side A-pillar is held in by one bolt and it comes right out.

    Personally I have ripped out that A-pillar multiple times already with no issue. Meso Puddle Pods, Tweeter Upgrade, Full Cab Sound Deadening, then last being the Grab Handle upgrade. Footwell Lamps will be the 5th time to pull out the A-pillar
