That’s it. It’s a ready made excuse. STFU and play defense for one series or go home. Or convert some 3rd down for one series. You’re there to play and win, not cry about it.

To me it's the fact that he was loudly critical of it..and yes he did say what @canonmutant posted I presume (didn't hear it but I don't doubt him) but he was not as ,shall we say, spirited about it

Everybody will have their own opinion on it but in every sport at some point you need a stop to win whether it be your closer in baseball or to finish a basketball game. Whether it’s offense first and then defense or defense then offense, if you couldn’t hold the other team to a field goal you don’t deserve to win. If you can then you’ve earned the right to win with only a field goal. If both teams get stops then sudden death applies. I don’t have a problem with this, seen it from both sides. By the time you reach the pros you should understand that “fair” is what you make happen not what is made to happen for you.

Finally had the intestinal fortitude to watch any type of highlight reel or replay of this game. Still sick about it, but what a game. GoBills.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
I want it to come down to the kicker. For playoff overtime games, each team must get a possession unless a team can eat 10 min of clock. Make it a 10 min quarter and after each score the extra point gets kicked from the 50 or you can go for 2 from the 10. With each score move the kick or the 2 point try back 5 yards. If a team goes up by more than a score or 8 points ends the game.

I'd fucking love sudden death shootouts.

More kickers would go in the first few rounds of the draft.

Have it where just the kickers come out and each gets a try from the 50 going in the same direction then it moves back 5 yards with each try. That would be fucking awesome! And simple. Here I have all these great ideas and @CaptAmerica comes along and is like cut out all the BS! Just kick the ball.

    Skip making the call.... [IMG]

Guys like Aaron Donald, Trent Williams, Von Miller and Joey Bosa will go head-to-head in Sunday’s NFC Championship between the Rams and 49ers. None of the four will be the “toughest” player on the field, though, according to Skip Bayless.

Bayless previewed Sunday’s NFC Championship during Undisputed on Friday morning. In doing so, he made a surprising pick for who thinks the “toughest” player in the game is.

Bayless believes 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel will be the toughest player on the field this Sunday. Not Aaron Donald. Not Trent Williams. Not Von Miller. Deebo Samuel.

The longtime sports television personality also thinks Samuel will help the 49ers beat the Rams 23-20 and advance to the Super Bowl.

Play football to win a football game. Kickers are important but shouldn’t be even more so.

Love Deebo but how anyone can take that midget Baylees seriously is beyond me. Friggin noise maker. Niners win in spite of him.
I do have to say that LA had less at stake last time and even more incentive beyond just reaching the super bowl this time. Go niners.

Deebo's a stud. I'll admit that I wrote the Niners obits about mid-season after losing about 5 out of 6, but now, I'm liking their chances of making it to the Big Game.
