We just had it, much ado about nothing. I say come over anyway. At some point we need to start learning to live with it.

Oh I know...my entire immediate family came down with it about a week or so ago, I wanted to have something similar to a chickenpox party to just get it over with! Same with my sister in law's family, her bro got it for the 2nd time earlier this month right along with their mom, but they .

All of these folks, and more not mentioned, have basically been either "down" for a few days with cold/mild flu type symptoms...my sister's husband has had it worse of all but that's because it just doesn't want to go away (body aches, bad cough, had a fever for the first 5 or so days, he's on day 12 and is still testing positive.

    ^Stepping off soapbox
Either way Tim, we've been keeping you in our thoughts of late and will continue to do so, along with your upcoming medical team!!

Diagnose and repair if needed. Dye test, then angioplasty or a stent. Way too much fun for a Monday. At least Gwen is off and can get me there. And she has a crap ton of experience in this area. Which helps me, because she's staying even keel, and agrees with the process as the right choice.

I asked her, if I wasn't your husband, but a patient, what would you tell me? When the hospital wanted to keep me, she said come home and follow up with a cardiologist. She also thought this was inevitable.

My dad had a double bypass, and I remember him saying how much better he felt after. His back and elbow pain went away almost immediately. So if I can get the energy back, it's a win. And if it helps the knee pain, that's a bonus.

Thanks Chris, if I need it I'll let you know before I come down lol.

Tim, I had a roto rooter appointment at winchester medical about a year or two ago, honestly cannot speak higher of the staff there. The procedure went well and its close to home, so if you have the option its definitely an ok place.

Thanks Nick. I appreciate it. I didn't have any complaints about the ER when I was there. Everyone was great, the doc was thorough, and made the same recommendations. But when the cardiologist gave me a clean bill of health from their standpoint, and the symptoms returned almost as immediately after I was done, it left me doubting.

Gwen worked there for a bit, and came in there with a lot of experience. She doesn't trust them. And the cardiologist who read my stress test missed a subtle indicator of a problem. The cardio doc I met yesterday, picked up the irregularity quickly, and this team has a good reputation, as does the hospital. Not knocking Winchester at all. But that just doesn't instill confidence for me. And honestly, the Innova system is one reason I didn't want to be out this far. But that's where Gwen's job was.

At least Fairfax Hospital isn't too far away in the grand scheme of things. Glad you got a second opinion and they found it.

Yay!!! Rain comes in around 1600, then the change over to snow. Started out a 1-4 inches. Now a dusting -2 inches.

Change of topic... I have finally jacked up the X-fer in the heep (been very rough on it). She doesn't sound good at all in 4by. haha. A replacement from a salvage yard is $250. (local).. might go that route to keep it mobile, Then go through the original and see if it's rebuildable when time permits. although, the Atlas does sound nice, I'll never need such a stout transfer case, so it's outta the thought process.

I thinking this would have been a great opportunity to find a donor truck with a hemi in it, but they are hard to find.
