TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
Nothing wrong with a little "bling" in the interior.

Because the stock speakers sound about as good as a car from 1999 and the HU is slow and clunky with both CarPlay and SiriusXM. And it’s my daily and I enjoy good sound?

Really, the minimum requirement for performing any mod is simply "Because I wanna."

man everyone must have better ears than I do. Not just with Tacomas but whenever people complain about audio systems in cars. I don't really jam out in my vehicles and have been known to drive places and not even realize the radio is off. I don't really have an issue with the sound system in my Tacoma.

Me: "I love everything about this truck."

Also me: "I need to change everything about this truck."

    The duality of Tacoma ownership.

That aggravates me too, the stock HU takes forever to kick on when starting the truck. My 2018 Tundra didnt have that problem.

285/75/r16 Nitto Trail Grappler M/T’s, Extang 2.0 hard tonneau tri-fold. Billstein 5100’s front/rear with OME 886 coils and Headstrong off-road 3 leaf progressive AAL. All speakers replaced with Kicker CS Series. BulletPoint Taco Bar with stubby CB mic holder and two-way FRS/GMRS radio holder. Uniden PRO505XL 40 ch CB. RCI engine and transmission skid plates. RCI sliders. Garmin Mini Dash Cam 2. CMC by Milogen Fabrication.
Yeah, reminds me of dialup internet.

Edit: In all fairness though, I didn’t buy it for the outstanding sound system but for the outstanding off-roading prowess.

@Speed Freek made a good point the other day. Airing down skinny, or at least high aspect ratio tires, gives you a greater increase in the contact patch. The second number in the tire spec is probably almost important as the first (i.e. you are not much better with 295/70/17s than with 285/75//17s).

neither did I but it sucks Toyota went all cheapo on us. My SR A/C only had front speakers. And come to find out we only get 10% power to the rear. Very stupid if you ask me. :annoyed: So I added an amp. :bananadance:

The best way to install fogs is from the top side, with or without removing the grille. Way easier than the fender liner route.

Yup, KYB makes quality stuff, and I got both strut mounts for $56.42 shipped, so that's why I bought them. I have used products from KYB before and never had any issues with them, and they supply many auto manufacturers with parts, and the part number for the KYB strut mounts is SM 5640.

Do you have a link to that cap holder? I like that design. I'm always concerned that when I get gas in Oregon they're going to damage the fuel door jamming the cap into my gasshole.

Also, you're going to love those fogs.
