Hard to find if you run into problems tho. And 1310s you can get just about anywhere

    You won't have a problem with Toyota u-joints :)

Carrying a spare is always prudent but Moog 387's (Toyota aftermarket) are always on the parts store shelves. Every Autozone within 50 miles of me is in stock on them currently.

Nope, they are junk compared to OE quality Matsuba's but they will get you home/off trail no problem.

Sourcing a donor t-case for NWfab eco-crawler and think I found a decent one near me on car-part.com from a 2001 tacoma, with about 89,000 miles for $250. The mileage seems reasonable, but having not spent a huge amount of time with t-cases, is there anything to keep an eye out for?

The dowels between the cb and tcase are suppose to be 9mm? Anyone source these from somewhere else?

Yes, look up 1999 Tacoma Transfer Case, 6 cylinder, w/o differential lock; AT, automatic disconnecting differential. That's the standard j-shift transfer case and the search yields a bunch of results (both 4Runner and Tacoma over many years). I picked up a donor case a couple months ago from a local yard for $75.

So what’s a set of dual cases worth? I’d probably sell the hole setup since I have a new trans.
Trail gear 2.28 crawl box and 4.7 main case. 23 spline outputs. Passenger drop. Uses the a340e prerunner transmission and inchworm prerunner adapter.

thinking of getting that new midnight fab dana 300 case.

Yeah, they are too short. the frame is 36". The ones they gave me best case scenario go 35.5. I already started making some new ones when I realized it was gonna be questionable. Is that what you meant?
