They are similar to a rx and I'm not a fan and have thought about a gx460 swap but not at msrp prices.

IIRC the 5GT4R rear window rolls down. Having a rear window that rolls down is really handy sometimes when off-roading.

I'm ok with just about any front bumper look or style as long as it doesn't remind me of one of these cars. There are some bumpers that I swear are trying to recreate the look.

unless it's covered in mud/dirt, my poor driver/passenger windows are scratched to hell from me rolling them up/down on the trail.

I used to mostly wheel with my windows down but then would have to roll them up through dusty/muddy sections back when my AC was fubar'ed. Which is how that happened. I mostly keep the windows closed now offroad

Yeah that's definitely a consideration. I do tend to pop the side windows on my shell more than the rear in the Tacoma, but I like having the option of the rear window versus fully opening it. My dad has a 5th gen and I've gotten a lot of seat time in it. I don't love the cockpit view buts also not as bad as the FJ Cruiser, just not that spacious 100 series view either. I've also been with he and my mom on trips when they've driven that and it can fit a helluva lot.

Rear window down on 4runner = exhaust fumes

Man the 470 has the good grille though. No denying that part. Early 460 as well. At least the 2014 460 isn't as insane as the new ones.

Do you have a rear bumper/carrier on yours?

Screw rolling down the window, especially the rear.

Not yet. Should have a bumper build going this summer. It had double tube bumpers when I bought it. I want to weld up something stock looking but better.

Did you open the rear side windows on your 100? I do is sometimes to pull air through the cabin to keep from running the A/C in the mountains.

haha oops....well just make sure the window is clean then :D

One of these days I should take my doors apart to see how many pebbles and crap is at the bottom of them under the glass

It's s thing I should consider. I had the front windows tinted. It would probably fuck up the tints.

Yeah I did, luckily mine worked. It was nice to have for not running AC but keeping things flowing when it was a bit humid.
