That's a very sharp color. Good choice.

this is mine after 10 months and it does get dirt and stays parked outside. It typically last about 3 year but if it’s well maintained it can last up to 5 years. If installed properly it should never peel or fall off. But the horizontal surface will experience color fade even tho the ink and laminated have uv protection in them Mother Nature always wins lol. In my 16 years experience it starts to crack when it’s not waxed and cleaned on a weekly basis.

I mean, I could trim that back 20lbs with a set of TE37's, redo the intake/exhaust and get a tune, and get some better brake pads to balance it all out for the most part. As for re-gearing, I think I'd leave that alone. In stock form I feel like my OR is already running about 300rpm too high at 70mph, so the 33's I think would fix that (after a speedo adjustment of course). Worst case scenario I guess I could go this route:

Someone on here knows how to change out the leds. Apparently a little bit of soldering. I think he may have just posted it a few days back. There is a link to Amazon for the leds to replace the ones you would remove.

    Way Cool!
Thanks for the info about the wraps. Nothing gets the better of Mother Nature, so I can't accuse the wrap of being an inferior product.
I've no problem with a weekly cleaning. But a weekly waxing could become a chore! *** Maybe they should rename this process from "wrap" and call it "a Brazilian"! ***

    you know, weekly waxing... :rimshot:

Yes as I've kept a record of every fill up.
But then NO because I have not done the math to figure-in the odometer-reading change.
I know my speedo reads four miles per hours slower than actual (as shown on GPS and police radar). So how does that translate?
If, with the larger heavier tires, my calculations show 16, 17, 18 mpg --- am I truly getting 13, 14, 15 or 8, 9, 10 or what exactly? Yet to be determined.
I write down the miles shown on the odometer and the gallons shown on the pump at every fill. I fill to nozzle cutoff and then 1/2 gallon more every time.
I do the math by hand, no onboard computer in my SR.

Excepts from my records from two trips between GA & CO:
    With factory 245/75R16:
    21.5
    18.2
    19.0
    22.1
    20.3
    20.2
    20.7
    21.9
    20.3
    20.3
    21.5

    And with 255/85R16:
    18.8
    18.8
    15.7
    17.3
    16.0
    17.7
    16.0
    17.7
    17.6
    16.0
    16.8

That's actually not as terrible a dropoff as I'd have expected, but yeah maybe try tracking distance on GPS instead of on odometer if you can't find someone to speedo/odo adjusted to the tires

Actually I should have been more specific. But not a weekly wax wax but spray wax.

Look at the Mastercraft Courser CXTs, they're about 54 lbs each, so a little better. Stock tires are about 42 lbs each, at least the ones on the Pros and Trails. The difference isn't that bad.

for a second I thought it was a 2x4 TRD Off-Road DCLB. I was confused because toyota never made it in that configuration lol

My first thought when I read your post, "Could I use a no-buff, spray-on type wax"? But I don't really even know if there is such a product. I use the ol' wax-on, wax-off; every inch by hand; flipping the buffing towel often, etc. etc., etc. technique. It would be a hard for me to trust a spray-on & walk-away formula (until I learned that it works).

based on rough math that's a 3.4mpg hit. That's... not nothing.

    Right.

But the numbers aren't pure because of the odo being off.
Is it really only a 1.5 mpg hit? Or 5.5 mpg hit? Or?
