Jade Island not only lets people inside to pick up their food, but allows indoor dining and seems to no longer require masks; However, they remain popular despite the ongoing labor shortage, and as a result they can very quickly get swamped. I no longer go to Jade Island either! There is another Asian place probably a mile north of the place that wasn't letting people inside, located on the same stretch of road but in adjacent Chalfont; The first time I went there was also the last...

WHY?!?!

Because at the time I went there (Sometime in 2021; Forget when), they took it one more obnoxious step further. The main entrance was totally locked, and they didn't have someone watching the entrance, so you had to call a number on the front door and have the food brought out to your vehicle; I unassigned the order and left...

 

I would also like to point out that the place in New Britain was located in a relatively large shopping center; I picked up two orders from two different restaurants on the same stop. The second order was from a pizza place just two or three storefronts down from the Asian place; I went there and picked up that order while waiting for the one. The pizza place was fully open (indoor dining, pickup, restrooms open, etc) and not requiring masks. Amazing how one restaurant of at least three in the shopping center was totally isolating itself while the other two were acting like it's 2019!

 

You're getting even more snow in Massachusetts than we're gonna get here in Pennsylvania!

This Mexican restaurant just outside of Doylestown Borough has never failed to provide me with highly profitable deliveries!

 

Here is photographic proof that foglights are better than high-beams in snowy conditions; My truck has aftermarket foglights that are "illegally wired and can be turned on at the same time as the brights (Translation: I have a base mode Taco, I wanted foglights, and it's too much of a pain in the ass to wire them so that they comply with federal DOT regulations). Here are both the brights and the foglights in simultaneous operation...

So all day I was listening to the weather report on the radio on and off, and New Jersey is gonna get the worst of it (As is Delaware, especially on the shore); As such, a state of emergency was declared in Jersey at 5pm. A state of emergency did not go into affect in Pennsylvania (where I live for those reading this who do not know) until 7pm, when I took this picture; Guess where I am?!?!



In a parking lot in Lambertville, New Jersey; That is New Hope, Pennsylvania across the Delaware River from where I was sitting in the truck!

 

One insultingly low DoorDash order came in while I was taking these pictures...

 

That picture was taken exactly two hours and sixteen minutes ago

 

I decided to drive into Jersey about as far as I felt like driving (Which was not far at all and actually walking distance from Pennsylvania), to see if there was a difference in snow intensity; There wasn't...



Above, you see the bridge between Lambertville and New Hope...

 

Dusting on cars and trees as you can see, but while it was snowing, it wasn't snowing hard and you barely noticed it...

 

Back across the bridge to New Hope...

 

Less than two miles from home, I ended up engaging what I call my truck's "fake positraction" mode to tackle a slight incline in a residential neighborhood...

 

Don't remind me..just cleaned a foot of the shit and cleared my fireplug
