I got some sweet retro 80s skis at the goodwill in Buckhead for $12 when I was in college, mostly for wall art, but I took them up to NC a few times for shits n giggles. A buddy found some ski boots there as well for like $26 that were basically brand new in his size, and he skied in them for several years.

Peter Glenn or Rocky Mountain Ski&Snowboard/Patio&Outdoor may have some boards from previous seasons that went unsold you could get for a decent deal, idk about used gear there though.
idk if you've used BOA before, but I've had multiple sets of cycling shoes with it replaced under warranty, and friends out west that had it on snowboard bindings that had it break loose mid-run and ruined their day. Nobody I know that's used it still uses it or would recommend it.

Gotcha, I used them last time we went out but that was just a day. My buddies use them but I'm not sure how long they have been running it. I'll see what all I can find about pros and cons

Definitely bit the bug on this one haha. Super fun and can't wait to get back up there to go again

Has anyone used this kit. Looking to add a switch panel to the Taco, switch panel has been a game changer for my Maverick X3. The only think is the mounting location looks like it maybe a pain in the ass to read while driving.

Auxbeam has a $20 off coupon on Amazon right now. I just bought the 6 gang and a switch panel on Etsy to fit the auxbeam. I paid about $170-$175 for the two.

Not a fan of buttons down there unless I am using them while stopped. That being said, a lot of people do it.

Thats why they paid me the big bucks!!

Lol, the Art Director in me would never let that stand, unless you gave me no time to properly install and do the photo shoot…then it’s all out the window!

As others have stated don't skimp out on boots. I'd even go as far as saying you should go actually try boots on at Peter Glenn or Rocky Mountain and talk to the guys there before purchasing based on size alone. Each brand has its quirks with how exactly they fit. Breaking them in only sucks for the first day or two. Having a roll of moleskin handy is a lifesaver in my opinion.

BOA is personal preference but my next pair will definitely have the double BOA system despite the complaints. Personally I'm just tired of tugging on my laces to get them tight and having to tighten mine up at least once a day.

I'm headed out to Idaho next week and almost talked my buddies into renting a lifted TRD OR I found through Turo, but with 4 dudes and all of our own gear it made more sense to get a suburban. I'll be missing my truck while looking at all that snow for sure!

Yeah boots are the last piece of the puzzle now. Board and bindings have been acquired. Gonna try my buddies on next week and maybe run down to a few other spots to try some on before buying some

Don't use em myself, just ignore the light on the dash. If you are going to replace them though, you can probably get the OEM denso sensors on Amazon for not much/cheaper than the dealership. Some people have issues with the aftermarket ones not syncing up correctly.

Where are you going? Looking for recommendations for myself.

I've been contemplating cutting into my sunglass storage piece to put some switches in there. I'd love if someone had a 3d scanner and could print 3d print a replica, or if someone has an extra laying around. That way if I screw it up, I'm not left with a constant reminder of my inadequacies.

Look for the Denso ones. They'll probably even have a Toyota part number on them.

I moved the plate I made for the spods up slightly, so I could use the other holes in the TPAM. Got rid of the vent mounts.
