in my NY/NJ days, I spent a fair amount of time in an IBM disaster recovery testing center in Gaithersburg off Frederick Rd. It was a huge place that was mostly underground. It didn't look like much from the surface. I guess that was intentional. It's now closed. It was the building on the right in this picture.

Also, spent a lot of time passing through MD on the way from Jersey to Annandale VA to visit my wife's cousins and on I95 heading south to FL.

A not-so-well-known detail about John Denver's first mega-hit is that it was originally written about "Clopper Rd." in Gaithersburg MD.

In late 1970, local singer and songwriters Bill Danoff and his girlfriend at the time, Taffy Nivert — who performed as Fat City — were driving to a family reunion.

As they drove through winding roads, the couple batted about lyrics, to pass the time — they envisioned a song Johnny Cash might record. .

“The road they were actually on was Clopper Road, in Gaithersburg, a little two-lane blacktop,” at the time, but now an exit off Interstate 270, said Len Jaffe, a D.C. area-based singer and songwriter, who was at the Cellar Door for the song’s debut.

“When they got to the ‘Almost heaven …’ at first it was going to be Massachusetts, because that’s where Bill was from. But they didn’t like the vibe, so they used West Virginia. They had never been to West Virginia,” said Jaffe.

My chorizo tacos were only $15, and they were actually pretty damn good. We’ll see how much the company has to pay for my coffee tho

@CS_AR So that GX is a Luxury trim which means air suspension, so I’d have to do a delete/coil conversion. Which I’m assuming isn’t too crazy but have to look into it. Guess it’s time to hop back on Mud haha.

I see a lot of conversions to Dobinsons IMS in this part of the country. Use the air suspension to take the price down as people around here do with AHC.

Point out that it was used by Lincoln.

I looked into it and really it's just yanking out multiple vacuum lines.

Aside from that, a standard suspension install.
