Got it. You taught me something new (about radials changing things). Cheers for that!

The thing about all of this (and this is why I thought I should jack-up & measure), is that the tiresize web site shows my tire as 33.1".
But my actual height (mounted & with weight on) is 31.7".

That diff might alter the outcome of my calculations. And it might not. It also came into play with my speculating that -at speed- the tires expanded to the published 33.1. ???

I'm enjoying all of this feedback and help from you & @Droid. It isn't a huge deal to me whether my mpgs took a hit or not. I don't want to waste money at the pumps, but I really like my tires in every other regard. They have performed to my expectations at each turn, so far (mud, snow, dry, noise, etc.). So all of this great info is more for others who are looking into a tire size swap.
Still, I'm loving it. "Enquiring minds want to know!"

I installed this type of light strip there (because my Softopper blocks the 3rd brake light) but mine was flexible enough that I just went over the spare tire access hole. Not an issue at all!
You also asked how to connect these lights. I went behind my bumper an spliced into the trailer wire harness there.
Everything works great and I can lower my spare when needed.

Speaking of which, I check pressure in it last week. At five years old it was down to 15 psi. Be sure to always include it when you do your routine tire pressure check with the other tires.

No problem, I enjoy the mental exercise. You'll notice that the total height is always lower than spec when they have weight on them because they flatten out until the square inches of contact patch matches the weight of that corner of the vehicle. The total circumference isn't effected though, it's just got a flat spot. It took me a while to wrap my head around that one myself. The even trickier part to wrap my head around was realizing that centripetal force isn't even around the tire while it's rolling. When you're doing 70mph down the road the tire is not spinning at 70mph, it is rolling at 70mph. When a given section of the tire is at the top it is traveling at 140mph and has the maximum centripetal force it will see at any given speed. At the bottom though, the tire completely stops and has zero centripetal force. Look at slow motion videos of top-fuel dragsters and you'll see that the wheel doesn't get any higher from the ground even at 300mph. But you will see it get taller when they do their initial burnout, which sends the tires spinning, rather than rolling. You will see some very interesting ripples in the tire that kind of look like standing waves, which I assume is caused by physics similar to how a "chain-fountain" works.

It's freaking amazing the physics that tires put up with for 30-60kmi.

Oh man, did I say "DUH!" Yep, I get it about the flat bottom and the overall circumference. Again, thanks for pointing that out, as it was sure slipping right past me. Makes total sense now.

It was exactly dragster tires that got me thinking centripetal force came into play. But I guess I was only watching the initial burn-outs. The tires DO get very elongated and tall and stretched then.
But you are spot on that they don't as the rod moves down the track. Dang I need to pay more attention to details!

Nice. Do you have any installed pictures to share? Did you cut up the dust shield or shim it back to clear the rotor? This is actually my second kit. The first kit I got I ended up selling before installing it. To use the money toward the wheel.

Recently got a HP OMEN with customizable backlit keys with a NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti card. It's my first laptop and absolutely love it. Will run all of my games with no issues. Works great with my hub and large monitor if I desire to do so.

On board battery maintainer showed up. The auto start can drain the battery if the truck sits for over 2 weeks without driving it. I know I can disable the auto start when the truck is sitting but already having a block heater adding the battery maintainer makes more sense to me. Haven't decided on mounting location yet.

With the provided brackets for the cover. There’s some really good YouTube videos on how to install it that can probably explain it better than me.

That’s a nice setup there. You even have the rear BBK. I will looking into that down the road for sure. Just worried if I will lose the ability to use the emergency brake since my truck is a 6 speed.

Have 32 on my PC too and 16 on my laptop. Rather sit on the couch watching TV while surfing TW vs being at a desk for hours.
