meaty taco build --- lets do this

So here goes nothing--- just took me over an hour to make an album with all the photos from the last 18 months or so.... This build is a work in progress as I have like 2k pictures and videos to sort through, and counting. Hope you guys enjoy. This is my first Taco-- what a great rig.

I picked up the meat taco on July 25th 2020 in Houston Texas. I flew down from DFW to pick it up right when the mask BS started.

Paid 38k out the door. Not bad considering how much people pay now. Note-- I was very patient and waited for a 6speed MT that was SuperWhite.

Super easy install; and not too much rice for me. The down turn drones for some people; I don't mind it as I always have music on and I'm used to it now.

 

Superwhite, DCSB, 6M is the best trim!
These prices today are silly stupid. I paid $33,400 OTD with 3 miles on it back in October 2017.

I agree-- Lots to share. This is what it looks like now... I am swapping the front bumper by the end of Feb-- Picking it up on my way back from Steamboat Feb 21st.

 

Your list is missing MESO gear, otherwise I'd say you have quite the inclusion of every brand available known to man.

 

I'm gonna try to get them all up in the next 2 days. Videos I need to upload. Lots of those. Some here on Youtube too.

Me too. Just waiting for better weather to tear the interior apart in.

 

Nothing I just want a bit more clearance for now. I'll chop the front higher at some point but settled for this WarFab Warthog front. Sold the front to a buddy in Long Beach. He's coming to have me install it in March or April.

Nothing just want more of a crawler build less overland. I dont need the extra beef this one has. It is solid tho. I took this all over Moab. Even into Mickeys Hot Tub and 90% up Moab Rim

 

what bull bar do you have? and do you like it?

 

Time to upgrade to the Marlin Tacobox and the Marlin RCLT setup. That setup sounds perfect for your driving style

 

Subaru Tweeter Install was easy-- $100

Had a local shop in Grapevine install the amp so I could plug in the custom made JL Audio Stealth Box 8"

 

Oh yeah that and gears. They changed up their kits I will def do it at some point.

You are still on stock gears with 35s?

I immediately regeared to 4:88 Yukons with front ARB locker right after I put on my ADS/ICON lift and 33" 255 BFGs. Perfect gearing! You'll probably want the 5:29s with 35s, and the inevitable 37s down the road.

 

Oh yeah 5.29 is next mod I'm sucking gas for now but don't mind the way it drives yet. I want even bigger tires when I do that. I'll be tubbing and swapping the front axle too. lol. Lots of time for all that
