Are you SAS or RCVs?

 

First offroading trip @ Bridgeport in North Texas. I got stuck in 5 minutes... They told me to avoid water and I didn't listen. A jeep pulled me out with a winch. Lesson learned.. lol you can tell how deep we were by the pictures.

 

IFS for now--- will swap the front axle for something beefy eventually. Prob in a few years

 

I should have taken the steps off day one--- Note to all you steppers... the stock ones attach to your body (see pictures). Take them off--- not worth getting them hung up and ripping a hole in your floor. Not to mention the hefty sticker tag (note-- I didn't build and wouldn't have asked for these if I had) Sold them for like $250 locally.

 

Ordered my 33s from a local tire shop that I found on Ebay. I picked them up.

 

I'm still trying to figure out what solid axle to use that will work with the Taco wheel speed sensors. As these 3rd gen Tacos use the wheel speed sensors for the traction control, ABS, speedo and probably other important stuff.

with 3" 2" Supreme Suspension Lift, with Stock rims and tires. Note I already removed the ugly TRD stickers. Pretty sure I debadge the Tacoma up front shortly after this too. You will notice the badges started to disappear.

I haven't even started looking into it. At that point I doubt I will care but would be nice to still have the tree not lit up on the dash. I know we need 05+ super duty ford f-250 or 350 axles

 

Shoutout to @Texoma @ Triple C Chops Shop for the CMC last year. Since I have done a relocate but it did the job for Moab last year on 33s! Note--- he painted them I just didn't snap a pic.

 

Doing Speakers sucks--- I hate taking doors and trim off. Least fav stuff to do.

 

JBA STD High Caster Upper Control Arms came in and I installed them immediately. Covid work from home allowed lots of time to work on the truck during the day. Truck looking solid!

 

Bought Icon Coilovers from Summit-- Long story short I bought and installed them only to realize that the coil it came with was just 600Lb and it said 700lb per the part number I had ordered. I spanned them up real tall and they still weren't high enough. Ended up taking them back off and putting the stock Coilovers and Spacers on. Eventually I buy Elka 2.0 fronts. Still using them with current build as of 1/29/22. Wanting 2.5 or 3.0s next with DSC or I'll just wait for SAS.

Also bought my 5100 Bilstein rears and put those on right away. The stock rears are still for sale. Less than 5k miles.

 

SWAY BAR DELETE. Also deleted the Icons after a few days. The sway is still hanging in my shed along with stock exhaust.
