2stroke Scooter

So I’m having a lil trouble purchasing a 2stroke scooter here in the great state of cali, they wont allow them to be shipped here. So my question is, if I travel to say oregon, utah, or arizona can they be shipped ther? Ik they have Amazon lockers but I never used em. If you know a place i can purchase a small scooter in LA lmk. Thx

 

Check craigslist. If you can't find one local, you'll surely find one at a distance you were willing to drive anyway.

I believe the issue is with registration and emissions. If you import one you might have trouble registering.

Also, CA banned the sale of all "red sticker" offroad "toys" this year. Dirtbikes, ATV's, ect.

 

Inread something about this, my minds foggy rn but i think if its unded a certain cc they dont care for registration? i think its 49cc? wow didnt know that

 

Unless you have a friend in another state you can register it under that address.
My grandfather used to register his cars in Arizona, because cheaper. His brother lived there and would send him the registration fees.

Sure, but if you plan to run it on the street CA will want it registered.

 

i looked up dmv and they say no. The reason y i want one cus i saw some kid in one today and i remembered i always wanted one.

 

Yes, you just have to register it with a DMV in a state that allows 2 strokes.

 

When there's a will there's a way. I'm sure you'll figure something out.

 

now i have an excuse to go to arizona, unless i can find something on craigslist. Im just familiar with 2 strokes. If I cant fix it, theres plenty of small engine places here that can. An electric is expensive and i need dealer support in them being able to fix it and something thats been in the market forever. theres like a million electric scooters but a lot of junk.
