I have extended studs sitting in my garage not wanting to install them since I have two sets of those lug nuts…

Scared to use anything but car wash and water on my matte blue.

 

I know this post was almost a year ago but... are you running factory studs with these lug nuts?

 

Anyone know if you can buy the o ring that keeps the center caps from vibrating separately? Stupid dealer did warranty work and lost it and the noise is annoying

 

Go back to dealer they have to pay any damages on ur truck man

 

Well yes I know but I just don’t wanna order another center cap if I don’t have to

 

For a temporary solution, try McLendons or another hardware/plumbing store, or maybe a big rubber band?

ultimately, have the dealer reimburse you for a new cap or have them track down a proper o-ring.

Yea just sucks having to buy a 70 dollar center cap for just being careless. But I will fight the dealer about it

 

Yes. A rubber o ring that keeps them in place and so they don’t make noise

 

Wrap electrical tape around it

 

Do the caps come with them ? I just picked up a set last week and don’t see anything like that

i think he is referring to the caps and o-rings.

@mysubiewasalemon which style cap did you get? I think the o-ring may have only came with this style, you can kind of see the o-ring at the bottom
