    4A0362E2-93B4-40E0-8BF8-088E02A1D8CF.jpg M18 chainsaw review with 12” Oregon Bar and chain.

    Good replacement for Stihl MS 192TC that I used to have. It is by no means a replacement for the FarmBoss 290!

    The Oregon bar and chain are slightly larger gauge but the chain is shorter and oils well with the existing oiler. 0.043 narrow kerf of the Milwaukee stock bar and chain IMHO are too small and leads to more binding when cutting. The Oregon bar I chose came with a chain and had a part number of 27792.

    I feel like the M18 chainsaw is a better fit for the 12” bar combination and would recommend it to others at this point. We are still talking that the M18 with a 12” bar can handle a tree diameter of 20-24” which is much larger than any on the properties I currently own. I’m only a few cuts in but feel confident this is the right modification to the saw. 29CB93B5-3F5C-483B-9FD1-3ACF5C56AFC2.jpg35EC2FB2-8205-4BCF-B03D-62155074466B.jpg
    * Edit final note:
    The key to my cross reference to make sure the bar and oiler style fit was the A041 bar mounting type.

    As soon as My GreenWorks Pro 80V stock bar and chain get shittie or bugs me enough, I'm doing the same. For the "green" saw, it's a 1:1 size change, just better parts AND I already have the parts!

    Anyone ever mounted their 12v charger to a pegboard? If you did, how so?

    Depends on each charger. Measure the holes on the back of the charger and find a way to mount. The box I just bought has built in charger mounts, but it's just screws...

    M12/M18 charger has the dimensions on the back with a 4.00" mark...

    It's not marked, but it looks like the M12 dedicated charger is 3"...

    Also, wife and I have been doing a mild laundry room remodel. Anyone else have their shit in complete chaos during/after a project?

    for a second I thought you were talking about a bedroom bed, and not your truck's bed. I was confused as to how either of those tools would struggle at all. thought to myself, man that bed must be really rusted together or something... he needs to bang more on it.

    then I realized you were talking about your truck bed... lol :D

    Why tempt it? For $10 more Home Depot can get you a genuine one, or 2 for $229... Seems like an easy decision.

    well this is 2 for $140 lol. If it was just $10 more at the depot, I'd certainly go there. Seller offering free returns is what caught my eye mostly, but that could also be a trick to draw people in

    I read this as $140/ each when you buy two... So $280/2.
