I noticed that my exhaust was touching the RCI skid plates so I went and bought 3/8 square washers and attach them as you’ll see in the pictures. If anybody else has this problem this is a very easy fix… and yes yes I’ll clean the dirt out… lol

After my homemade wooden drawer setup finally died from me leaving my softtopper open in the rain all the time I decided to try a truck box. I found they still make the one that’s designed to fit in the old Ford Ranger “Splash” with the step sides and super skinny bed (why anyone would want to reduce bed width that much is beyond my ken….*cough* trail edition*cough*)
It fit perfectly into the front of the bed with some angles I made to mount in the bed rails. EE86A356-99AA-4E18-B3C2-DA9A3F2EDB43.jpg
Unfortunately the lid wouldn’t open under the softopper so I took that off.
I then decided I preferred drawers and so got the Decked drawers and installed them on Friday evening….. pretty straightforward, took about 3 hours.
Then I was able to put my topper back on and I’m much happier with it! 8DA5AEDA-48DF-404B-81D6-4092213CF463.jpg
Yesterday and today I installed the Ironman 4x4 RAID bumper. I swapped my Diode Dynamics SS3 fogs onto it and plugged that into my OEM fog harness, but I haven’t wired the rest of the lights up yet. D2E0142B-6951-44DD-AF14-8C44F39DC08C.jpg
Also still need to trim back the fender skirt underneath and hit the dealership for a few clips and pieces I broke the crap out of removing the front… oops.
I’m pretty happy with everything and can’t wait to get my new Auxbeam controller mounted and all the lights wired up to it! Not this weekend though, I’m cooked.

    COOL Stuff I can't afford . . . But I bought anyway!

Haha, at least you knew you had to fix the problem and leave it alone like some ppl.

I did the alpine designs CMR. Shop said the lift was aggressive enough that with a little massaging, 35’s should clear too. I have no rubbing at all on the 34’s.

Very nice.Sorry, I just didn't see you listed it so I was kinda shocked there was no rub. I also plan on going up to 285/75R17 next time.

But yea, the headlight issue is easily 60% of drivers where I live. I refuse to be one of them.

When I first started looking for my Tacoma I wanted the premium package but couldn’t find an exact match to what I wanted. I “settled” for a non-premium 6MT and figured I would take that 5k and put it into the truck in other ways - a good chunk of that being the sound system. I ended up spending 7+ when all said and done but I’m really happy with my truck.

Edit: that being said I’m happy I didn’t get the premium package as I hear negative feedback about the JBL all the time. I just wish I had the tech package with the BSM because that’s just nice to have

Double edit: not 7k on just the sound system. Long day

It's about an extra inch, inch and a half tops over stock flares. If I look down the side of the truck it seems almost perfectly even with my -10 offset wheels/ 33” coopers.

Yup! Entune 3.0 replacing 2.0. Head unit and wiring harness from infotainment.com. Took about 15 minutes.
