I've had earwax build up to the point of temporary hearing loss a few times in my life. I usually do few days of Debrox then get a nurse to flush things out. The giant stainless steel syringe they use looks unpleasant... and the procedure lives up to the looks... but it feels like I have superhuman hearing when it's done. It's amazing how much stuff they can flush out of there.

Yeah the Debrox doesn't work well on me, the syringe isn't great but not that bad, but my ENT has a machine that is basically a tiny super vacuum that he can break it up and get it out, its like someone took earmuffs off me after. The flush is the worst of the three IMO. I get off-balance/vertigo when mine get super bad bc of how it effects equilibrium.

I'll keep that in mind next time it happens. I've always gone to a generalist clinic--sounds like it'll be worth my time to find a specialist.

I never felt like the Debrox worked that well (I think it's better as preventative maintenance than as a treatment for a full blockage), but I've always been told to use it before the flush. I did manage to clear a blockage myself using just Debrox and water during COVID lockdowns but it took a few days.

MY GP used to do it with the flush when I was younger, world of difference when I switched to the ENT. Definitely worth your time.

So 255 Coopers (255 AT in general it looks like) backordered everywhere. Sticking with 235 for a while.

Yeah, they were backordered back in Oct of '20 after I ordered my 4 Coopers. It's why the 4R got a Toyo spare.

Being handy is a curse. I replaced the weather stripping on the garage door and the added friction is just enough that the opener can't
