    Apparently I timed it so the seat belt light wasn't on

    If you unplug the connector under the seat the light never comes on :anonymous:

    If I actually drove without a seat belt on that would be nice to know I suppose.

    :DWell today was a big step forward on the 1KD swap. She finally fired and briefly ran before the immobilizer kicked in and shut her down. Long way to go still but I needed a win to see that it's moving forward.

    Anybody come across immo off/delete services in the US? There are places across the pond that offer these things but was curious if anybody knows of one here.

    I will, Todd at diesel toys said he can do it for me but I want to see if there are other options first, maybe ones that I can learn and make it happen on my own.

    I had the spare set of brushes after our last encounter with this same issue. Lighter than carrying around an entire alternator, and I figured there wasn't much else in it to fail... but that failure of the brushes would essentially leave me stranded. There aren't many ways to jerry rig that.

    Good times... I should order some brushes for the Suzuki alt. I just did the ones in the LC before going to DV with you guys in Dec. It was overdue.

    Bet they are barely touching. Based on mileage I think Dan's and mine fail around the 200k mark.

    @Blackdawg

    Is this the Droid you were looking for? I seem to have robbed the pins, but I found my wiring stash in the attic so I'll see if I can find pins if you still need it

    yes! That is indeed the droid.

    I think I can buy pins and stuff still, its the plastic part thats hard to find so no worries if you can't find any of that lying around.

    Pm me your address unless you are coming south and want to grab it. Bottom photo is original config. The 2 Grey insulated on the left look bigger to me, but I didn't have that so I gave you all the same size
