@six5crèéd you think its possible to extend the arm of this? Looks easy. I need just a bit more cutting height. I figure cut above the switch then weld flat steel around to support it...of course ill need new slightly longer blade

 

It's in my list as well. I also added this to my list of wants if my table saw will handle it.

 

I don't see why you couldn't cut it there and extend it. I'd be sure and check to make sure you can get a blade the right length before doing it though

 

You can get blades any size, really. We make custom bandsaw blades, even. I just wonder if it would put too much load on the motor?

 

well the plan would be to go from 62" to 67". If i calculate that correctly its 2.5" overall lift in height since its 5" difference? At least thats what my math says in my head...cuz of 2 sides of the blade getting extended. You all correct me if im wrong

 

Is your blade length right now 62" exactly?

My first concern would be whether or not the chineseium that frame is made from is something that can be welded.
