I found an OEM letters for $43, decided to go with them. I know they will work.
Adding OEM black TRD and 4x4 badges too.

They're not selling at MSRP. Dealers will continue to charge "market adjustments" only as long as the people here are willing to pay them.

It's not like paying the dealer extra $ makes Toyota make more trucks...

I hear the Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers song in my head.

“The waiting is the hardest part…”

Just got a call this morning from the dealership’s service department who will be installing the lift. She confirmed my truck will be there tomorrow or Wednesday. I purchased the parts from a CA dealership ($300 less) and she wants me to bring the parts in today or tomorrow morning!!

    Man, it’s almost here.

Paid MSRP = $41469 + $619 Appearance Protection Package (paint and seat protectant, and that invisible film stuff on chip-prone areas, 3 year fix warranty on problems), free ceramic tint, weather tech mats

Didn't want the protection package, but talked it down from a 2k package, and the tint is full ceramic at a good 3rd party shop, and weather tech are like $200, so I basically got out for MSRP.

You sure about this? Source? I’ve spoken with them and was assured they are selling MSRP.

Yeah, handling/documentation fee. That’s something every dealership charges, separate from the market adjustments we are seeing everywhere. My local Larry H Miller in Albuquerque (and Santa Fe) are charging 10k markup on all Pro models. They have been doing this since even before the pandemic.
I am waitlisted at McDonald for a 22 Pro at MSRP (+handling fee, which is fine)

Thanks for the info. I'm gonna go over my paperwork tomorrow but I wasn't aware of that and thought I got mine at MSRP

I mean, regardless, $699 is much better than the 10k around here.

Yup, same 699 here in Colorado.. its a normal fee on all cars regardless of make. Think of it this way. It goes almost directly to your sales person and the process of selling a car. Finance department.. the detailer, rail fees, import tax,, but mostly its money at the local level.. you are paying 699.00 to buy a car basically.. but its all local, not toyota money. I'm totally fine with it. Kids need shoes!

On a 50,000 dollar truck my sales person worked her ass off on.. I'm good with 699.00 it's far better then a 15% to 20% tip for a burger

I just looked at my purchase documents. It was $85 for me. I did some quick searching and apparently CA caps it at that.

    still in stock form
Purchased mine MSRP plus lots of factory extra here in CA 42K 2021TRD-OR. But waited almost 2months but I got my tacoma with no markup, the trim that I want and the color that I want. The only thing that I paid extra (that I didn't like or wish the dealer didn't install are the predator steps)
