*Looks at unanswered Outlook calendar invites*

our company was one of the few first ones that Facebook invited to beta test their Facebook at Work platform a few years ago, which bombed horribly. IT kept telling us to use it but it was so weird using the FB platform as a work one that it eventually failed. I think they still have a version of it going though

    Haha, nope.

This was with Peyton after the Seahawks murdered them in the Super Bowl. It was a great game to end my fandom with.

*remembers that one time a former employer tried Yammer*

And today I learned that Yammer still exists.

Huh I'd never heard of that one till now...looks like the same idea FB was going for with theirs. In fact, FB's is still around they just changed the name from Facebook At Work to Workplace. I don't know anyone that uses it though, it looks like our account at work got deleted because I don't have access anymore. Not surprising because everyone here hated having to use it.

I need a copy of my birth certificate and apparently Missouri requires a person to get a notarized document stating they are who they say they are before they'll issue a birth certificate copy. So now I have to go find a notary and pay them $30 or whatever just to hear me say I am who I say I am and watch me sign a piece of paper

Duuuuude...yes. I didn't know how badly I missed hearing this album, used to play it through all the time. Not many albums I can listen to from beginning to end without skipping some songs, but this is one of them

Nice, I'll check with Chase and see if they offer that.

I feel like being a notary is some of the easiest money a person can make.

"I need someone to watch me sign this"

I'm certified to do that for you! *watches them sign* Alright that's $50

FWIW I also don't think that they've ever verified that I was a WF customer so there's an (un???) ethical tip

Well, yes but every notary gets recorded in a log book with thumb prints and all and must be kept for I forget how long. Need to treat it the same as if we were the very people asking/signing for those documents.

I used to do notary at our dealership; it took care of a lot of stuff specifically our out of state sales and whatnot.

My grandpa still has a bunch of the log books from when he owned a UPS store.... those things fill up fast and I think he has to retain them for a few years still.
