    Is there a tuning guide for dummies somehwere?

    I live about 56 miles away from the city and contemplating getting everything I need to tune myself.

    from my understanding I need the vf tuner software bundle and also tune.

    Anything else? Is it plug in flash and go? Anything else need to happen?

    That’s about it. Except you do need to be up to date. But a 2022 is already up to date.

    Then go to www.vftuner.com and buy the $389 Software with cable.
    Then, PM me or Dave (@PapaRee, or @TWTaco) for tune-pack- $300
    In the VFtuner software>>>go to the Help>>>Installation instructions to learn how to use it.

    I met up with Paul @TacoManOne last weekend for a tune. He was super helpful answered all my questions and got thru the process quickly. I have only run about half a tank of gas so far but i really like the way my truck feels. I had the sport tune setting I still need some time to get used to the throttle when I take off but otherwise I couldn't be happier. Money well spent.

    Getting Tuned Saturday morning. Final question on Normal vs Sport. Both produce the same HP/Torque curves correct? The only difference being how far the gas peddle is pressed? Are there any other differences other than "tip-in" or how the truck sees the peddle angle. I was opting for Sport but NickJaq recommended Normal. I don't want or need the truck "jumpy" but also want to optimize whatever this 3.5 can deliver w/out increased risk of engine damage. I've stated before ITT that my wife's 2015 Sienna with a transverse mounted 3.5 seems to deliver much better response than what the factory Taco tune does. Much appreciated and looking forward to the tune and a review once it gets settled in!
