178k on the clock. No issues here! Just did 3 cross country trips in it during 2021. Ready to do another asap, too. Fully confident this truck will go as long as I need it to. And I have zero plans of getting rid of it. Too many memories with it. It'll get parked in the yard when it comes time lol

    2006 off-road with 225k, I’ve owned it since 2010 and 65k.
Really no issues with this truck, best vehicle I’ve owned. I’ve put less than 1k$ in parts into the truck in the last 12 years. It’s got a lot of memories, going to be hard to sell it off

my '07 has 243,xxx miles and I wouldn't hesitate to take a cross country trip in it, except I'd probably take my '14, just because I have that option.

2009 just crossed over 255,000 and drive it on a 300mi trip every weekend with no problems at all. starts and runs as good as ever, shifts great. Never changed transmission fluid. At this point, never will.

Truck was way out of warranty and Toyota Corporation told me there’s nothing they could do. At the time and I don’t know if there is now, no service bulletins for paint repairs on Tacomas but they have SSBs on their other models?

I went to my local Toyota dealership and the service manager looked at the paint peeling which was under the hood on the fender edges, all four doors around the weather stripping, roof and B pillar.

He took pictures and after a few days he called back and said they would pay for half the cost to repaint those areas but they will use the body shop they use for repairs so I couldn’t get my own estimate from other places.

Well, I thought paying for half the cost was better than paying for it all.

2009 with 85,000, only problem is the white pealing paint in the same areas as others have mentioned. My white 1986 pickup (still have) paint has held up better then the 2009

20 years. After the 20th year the truck will fall apart.

i beat the shit out of it.
i always overload it and speed everywhere

no major issues, all maintenance and repairs done by yours truly.

only time it left me stranded was because of a shitty wiring issue (previous owners stereo and bs) and the damn security system/key.

these trucks do last if they are taken care of

+- 5,000 mile oil & filter changes. Purchased used w/104k. It's tight, it runs smooth, no leaks, no odd noises, and the 4x4 system engages/disengages with no drama. With the cold temps lately in the twenties, teens and single numbers around here getting a bit of a firm 4 to 5 up shift from the tranny but it's gone after a mile or so of warmup. It feels like a much lower mileage truck. Polar White with no peeling. Everything works. NO oil consumption between changes. I have driven two mid nineties Volvos to 300k + miles each and another to 200k. I see nor feel any reason why this truck wouldn't make it to at least 200k. It was 0°F this morning where I live when I started it.... cranked a little slower, took about 5 cycles of the starter to fire instead of the usual two, but you knew it was going to fire and it will at -15 one of these days too.

2010 single cab, bought in 2012 with 6557 miles. At 122300 something today. As the sig says, got the frame replacement last year.

Only big ticket item it needed out of my hand is the new shocks/struts/coils I paid for whilst the frame was getting done.

You can: 18" where I live. Jackpot was 31" south of Boston. Boston got 24", a new all-time record. Just a dusting.... ;)
I believe it was either Bridgewater or Randolf or both that hit 31". I think Norton, where the NWS Boston office is located also recorded 29.1" so you know that one is solid
