We're not far from Sharon but we're closer to the bay so a bit less but we probably had a solid 18 inches if not 2 feet.

One or our guys moved from India and lives in Sharon now - can't wait to see him tomorrow haha

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
I work Friday nights and got out right as it started snowing. I got to Buffalo without any problem but I got stuck at the hotel for over 24hrs. Good thing I get paid being there so long.

NWS said we got 27.5” and that seems just about right. The slight drift near my garage measured 29.5”.

Took me just under 2.5 hours to clear my driveway, porch, roof drift and the cars. I don’t get how you guys break shear pins as often as you do.

Yesterday, my 9 year old snowblower’s engine seized up only about 20% of the way into the job. Said “screw it” and dragged it back to the garage with the intention of dealing with it today.

Today, I pulled the plug and the pull-starter assembly to see if I can free it up, and, success, I did.

I checked the oil, all good, put the plug and pull-starter back, and it fired right up…

…until 15 seconds later when it starts smoking and squealing. Shut it down and deemed it over my head.

I’m going to bring it to Maestranzi Bro.’s in Beverly and see what they think.

Rockland, Whitman, Pembroke, Brockton are all 1 or 2 towns from me and as @MikeyMcFly said, over 2 feet. Stoughton was the winner though.

Mine was about that, though I did a few more things outside such as clear the fireplug and carve out more space for the mailbox.

Only one busted pin here and I really think it just rusted itself out versus actual use.

I broke one of my Makita batteries and used it as an excuse to order this, and it was $399 when I ordered it on Saturday.

I figured I'd be getting two 5 AH batteries no matter what ($200) and wanted the orbital sander and the multi-tool ($240). So instead of spending $440, I spent $400 and got all that plus another charger, drill, and 3/8 impact.

I'm starting to understand why some old guys I know have five of every possible power tool.

Do any of you guys know of a place that would sell parts for appliances, somewhere between Boston and Worcester? Dryer took a dump over the weekend. I think I have it narrowed down as to what's wrong but I can't find anyone local that actually sells parts. I found a couple people who will send their guys out to repair it but, at that rate, I'd be into it for several hundred dollars when it should only be a few bucks for the part. I tried Franks in Milford, they didn't have it in the store but 'one of their techs might have one on the truck'

EDIT: I spoke too soon, Frank's came through and was able to get the parts :yay:

    Today was pretty bad.

Final day at home alone with the girls (wife was on vacation in the tropics all weekend). Dropped the girls off at daycare and got a call about 5 minutes after I left that I forgot my older’s daycare breakfast so she was melting down. I know Brockton well enough, but not where all the Dunks are. I ended up at the one by the Brockton Center T station (for the locals) and ordered (5) munchkins. The cashier goes that will be $7.22 and went to charge my card and I was just like “what?” She charged me for (5) donuts and since there was no manager couldn’t give me a refund. I could come back later that day but nothing they could do. I was steaming. I drove back across the city to daycare and dropped them off. Roads were terrible, drivers were worse.

I finally start heading to work and I hit an intersection. I’m like the 3-4 car going on through on a green light and I notice to my left a car barreling through. Drilled the back door of the wife’s Jeep. It was still drivable but we pulled over to exchange info. I called for a cop just to be safe. After waiting 25 minutes the cop shows up and I get a lecture about how there’s no damage that caused drivability issues, etc and she left. I was livid because I just wanted something I could show to insurance to prove I wasn’t at fault. I went to review my dash cam footage and of course with the cold weather the camera died at 4 AM.

I was hoping it was just a door skin and trim, but the inner jam is bent and the whole door fit is off. Curiou what will happen.

I’m sick of getting hit. I’m really really sick of getting hit.

That's a hell of a day, last year I was smacked by an x5 or x7 in the work truck and the guy dipped out. Waited 2 and a half/3 hours for the cops and they basically asked if I had any injuries, saw a license plate, and then said the report would be available online at some point lol

Oof! I hate other drivers! Definitely would have requested a police report from the cop. Otherwise the others could back off. Wouldn't leave without one.

Basicapretty congested and a headache and supposedly you can get muscle kinks from it? So my neck is pretty kinked right now

I couldn’t get a word out before she was back in her cruiser. I also thought my dash cam was good which would be indisputable.

It's so tough to put one of these together with the ups and downs of securing a place, safety regarding the pandemic, and the rigamaro of trying to get vendors especially due to supply chain issues and donations......it will return again soon enough and hopefully all this crap going around will start turning back around. Doing it means doing it right and not half ass. I would love to just get everyone together but I want to go bigger and better and right now unfortunately, it is not possible. I wish we also had more vendors that lived closer.

Can relate as Linda works there and she said the roads sucked today.

Totally unacceptable treatment of your situation brother.
