Yep! I love their stuff. It's pretty much all wear to work anymore and (nearly) everyone gets a kick out of it.

I shot a Staccato XL today

I’ll be honest…I didn’t feel like it was $3400 worth of pistol

shot it back to back with a tuned Springfield 1911, and a tuned Glock 45 with slide cuts and my stock 19x

Couldn’t really see what is so amazing that makes it worth that kind of money

For some reason we are going to become a Staccato dealer moving forward. Based on the ones I've finger banged as transfers I also don't see the value for the money spent.

Unfortunately, STI is seeing similar QC issues Kimber had in the early mid 2000's.

That being said my co worker has an STI and that thing is smooth

    I should note

There were no specific issues...the gun was fine...it ran

Just seems like a lot of money for what you get compared to other stuff

It's probably a "because you can" type of thing.

They have the marketing behind them, and the name recognition.

I'd still like to shoot one - just once. ;)

    I love mine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Whether or not it's worth the price is up to the individual, but it's definitely the flattest shooting, most accurate handgun I have in my collection. My custom G19 is still my favorite, but it also took a good chunk of change to bring it up to speed.

Just for fun I tried to login to my old Arfcom account and what a disaster. I guess because I set up my account forever ago with an AOL email it's just lost forever.

Oh well, it's probably for the best not to see the suffering I inflicted upon guns as a 18 year old after all.

I'll spend and waste money on guns and parts like it's going out of style, but I'll be damned if I can bring myself to spend $200-300 on an Arc'teryx midlayer.

My atom I bought for $100. I have a Arcteryx Theta shell I got for $45 12 years ago. 3 years ago the seems started to come unglued. I sent it to them and they couldn't repair it so they sent me a new one. So that's about $700+ worth of Arcteryx I have less than $150 in.. I can't complain.
