Thanks guys. I missed you as well. Things are a little different with me right now, so I can't say I'm going to be the same guy at the moment, but things will pass. Even the truck has been getting it's fair share of neglect recently too. It's a trip how fast your life circumstances can change.

 

Yep, I feel you. My truck has just been used and not “improved” in over a year. Have everything except credits for HPtuning… just sitting there.

 

I think mine needs a battery replacement finally. My 8 year old Odyssey AGM is starting to not be able to handle small amp draws and sits at a nominal voltage of about 12.0-12.2V

I may just steal the X2Power AGM battery from my boat that I just installed, put that on the truck and put in a lithium as a replacement for the boat to run the electronics only.

I am in need of a new one as well. But I have a lead acid from Battery’s&Bulbs that has extended warrant… gotten a new one each year.

 

Every year? Yeesh, that's quite frequent don't you think?

 

Eh a bit longer like 16-18 months.
But the vibrations of bombing dirt/ jumping at 60+ Pretty much shake the avid out of the caps.

 

Ah okay that's fair. Lead acid batteries don't tolerate all that stuff well so that makes sense.

 

Welp.. the quick truck era is over.. and onto the quick house era.

Not on much due to xrunner being stored for winter. But plans are coming along for spring time. Got the 3:73 lsd going in. Some ride tech rear shocks. And picked up these on Facebook market place. Can’t wait to see if it hooks.

I just talked to the dealership. they say the s/c wasnt a factory install. any ideas how I can estimate how many miles are on it? are they serial numbered?

Is it making any noises?

 

No. I’m just about to pull it to do cam gears, full exhaust, tune etc and figured If it’s up there in mileage it’d be a good time to do it.

 

Magnuson told me this afternoon not to worry about until around 200k or noise

 

Maybe just do a fluid change, new belt, and swap the internal coupler from the spring loaded to the solid version. Parts can be acquired from ZZperformance, superchargers online..
URD has the internal orange gasket that tends to get eaten. Page 1 is the way.
