I love this truck, those UCAs are awesome! Mind sharing the cost on stripping and coating them?

How much trimming? Still need more but this makes it drivable for now.

    Thanks again @Buttskevin21!

Just installed this system I got used from a member on this forum @Tac0Tic0. Had the Y pipe and tail pipe ceramic coated with 2000 deg satin grey ice at performance coatings in Auburn WA. The tail pipe was coated due to the proximity to the 285 spare tire. The hanger contacts. Had the system installed on the dyno at intecracing in Kent.

The following is a thorough and proper review of the system.

Install: No issues. Intec was able to get the system on without a hitch. The Y pipe took some wiggling to get it into place but that’s about it. Granted this is used and so it may have posed an issue for the original owner.

Impressions: A bit louder than my TRD Pro exhaust. Very nice rumble at start up, idle and rev. All aftermarket exhaust systems drone to some degree, even the TRD. The question is whether or not it’s tolerable. This system definitely drones a bit more than the TRD but it’s relatively minor. Sound clips below.

Power: Decent power gain proven as this system was installed with the supercharged truck ON THE DYNO. Increases area under the curve as compared with the TRD. Delta of 14 WTQ at 3800 rpm and again at 4500-5500 rpm. Delta of 10 WHP all the way up the curve. Again, this dyno is in comparison to the TRD Pro exhaust. Of note this is with the magnuson stock tune and stock pulley. Very pleased overall.

I have a brand new URD SPEC U system in my garage for sale if anyone is interested send me a PM. Finally showed up after a four month delay due to supply chain issues. During which time i picked up the used system. Opened the box only to make sure everything is included. Asking $1250 picked up for Washington residents. Will consider splitting shipping foreveryone else.

Oh man, Intec Racing still exists? I remember going there back in high school!

@MESO LED tail lights installed. Night and day difference over the TRD Pro tails. Quality product. Goes very well with the Meso sequential turn signal mirrors.

I just did the exact same Stoptech kit on mine. Can’t believe some people say it doesn’t make a difference. For me it’s night and day. Yours has red lettering on the silver calipers though… Did you need to request that? Mine just has black lettering.

Agree. Initially I thought something was wrong. Pedal was a bit mushy. But it’s a pretty significant difference once you bleed the brakes correctly through techstream or the dealer. Happy with the mod overall. The calipers are the Stoptech Trophy calipers and were special ordered for this truck through Tom at SOS performance. Two lbs lighter than their standard calipers. They are hard anodized for corrosion resistance and will never fade… Not painted or powder coated. The red lettering will probably flake off over time.

I got mine through Tom also but not the trophy version… I probably would’ve ended up spending the extra $$ if I knew. How long did you wait until you re-bled yours? I’m at about two weeks. I was completely unaware there was a benefit to using the dealer/techstream. I’m getting on that asap. Thanks for the heads up

How are you liking this steering wheel long term?

I’ve had the carbontastic steering wheel on my radar for a while, but it looks totally different then you’re set up. To me the carbontastic always looked over styled. Are you sure it’s their steering wheel? Did you have to call them to custom build yours?

Somehow, every time I return to your thread you make the truck more and more sexier...
