I remember when I was young and dad would be working at the FD on Sunday's we'd go see him, there was a K-Mart near the station he was at and I'd ask mom if we could stop by. She always said we don't have any money, I said you got checks. I realized later in life just cause you got checks don't mean you got money. True story.

Ah. Too bad you don't have a combo horizontal/vertical bandsaw.
I used to say the same thing to my grandparents.

    Morning Bruce Inc.!

Who knew that driving a brick in 25mph, gusting to 65mph, head winds meant horrible gas mileage.

    Oh, right. Everyone.

The trip home last night was good.

There's 4 guys in my area.

One lives out of town and didn't come in today.
One emailed us and said his kid has remote school so he's staying home with him.
The last one has an all day meeting until 5:00 even though we're done at 4:00.

Which means I got the whole place to my self.

11, feels like -10 with the 30mph wind. But the temperature is dropping all day down to 5 and 22mph wind at 4:00 so it will feel like -17. It's hard to factor in the gusts but it isn't horrible.

I did think the message board this morning on the interstate was funny:

    No travel advised
    Fargo to Canada

Usually it says "border", for some reason replacing it with "Canada" made me laugh. But I'm easily amused.

When I was 12 years old my parents, brother, and I took a 2 week trip around the U.S. in dads 1987 1/2 ton Chevy truck with a 305 pulling a 26' camper. It was a regular cab truck so he bought a cheap shell for it so 2 of us could ride in the back o_O

I remember being out west somewhere that it was flat and the wind was so bad he had it mashed to the floor and we were doing 8 mph. An 18 wheeler passed us

I remember gas being around .69 cents a gallon, I ask him a couple years ago how much they spent on gas for that trip.......he said $1,000

Customer brought this by, boss said he wants three 1/4” holes at the check marks. Or did he mean 3/4” holes at the check marks :confused::confused:

He tried to drill one and it wasn’t close enough so he ask us to do it. Done!
