Lots of ups and downs in this story. Glad to see and hear it has a good ending. It pays to be a winner

Mounted my Hi-Lift Farm Jack using some T-Nuts and 3/8 Eye Bolts and washer nuts
    20220205_153225.jpg
    20220205_153217.jpg

The T-Nuts that I bought aren't in stock but these should do the trick if anyone wanted to do the same thing just verify your thread size:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B077...d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9kZXRhaWwp13NParams

Then I'm also doing the ST 323 Tank strap hack to mount my 4xInnovantions gas tank skid
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00CPVC2M6?ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
The plan now is to swap the rubber grommets from the regular tank straps and glue them onto the ST323 straps, then bolt the skid with M8-1.25 Nylon Insert Lock Nuts. If there is excess threading I'll grind the studs down and glue over the nuts to seal it all up.

Lastly, the fold up Mattresses came in!
    Screenshot_20220128-080621_eBay.jpg
The plan is to fold back one of the 12.5" sections as a pillow. They are both 25" wide so they will fit perfectly snug on top of my flush deck that I'm building in a few weeks

Further development on my track/bed system. More eye bolts with track nuts. Spaced the camper clamps perfectly to be able to wedge the first board in without screws, that way that tension keeps me from fighting the initial boards line up. Then I routed an old woodland sustainment pouch on the RC Molle platform. Im gonna hold off on any more pouches/mounting until I have my deck system constructed completely. I ordered some rails for the deck to attach slidable tie down anchors. I have all the materials. Its just waiting until my pops can come down with his welder and a weekend free of work obligations.

So since the last post I had my alternator die, at first I thought it was the crappy NAPA battery, so I bit the bullet and upgraded to an Optima Yellow Topper to help with the winch. Got the alternator off myself and found out that O'Reillys did me a solid and gave me the wrong one....the plugs that we have on 2nd gens are quad prongs versus the double pronged alt they gave me. Oh well, it was a satisfying maintenance op.....going to hit them up in the morning and then also swap my serpentine while I have my tensioner pulley loose.

    Then the platform itself

All in all about $450 and 12hrs of work with my pops

    20220612_151108.jpg

Then used herculiner to seal the base board up

And it was on this day that @IvanhoeTaco blessed the Razor Crest! He sold me this cherry 8x KC Pro6 Gravity Light Bar.

For anyone looking to figure out the mounting hardware, it is metric M6-1.00x16 screws that work best

Just a few DIY ideas on "the drawing board"
Top Left: Brush Wire inspired by thr Camel Trophy Trucks.....limbs smacking the windshield are a real thing in the Carolina Woods...replaced glass as a kid...never again do I want to do that!
Top Right: My SuperStrut obsession...came from the pics of my black tacoma when I made my own bedrails using Strut, Super Strut Spring Nuts, and drilling out Tacoma Camper Shell Clamps to keep everything torqued down. Plan is to get 13/16" Strut and use that down the roofs seal lines and bolt directly into the OEM roof rack holes. Bottom Left is a water tank (Whole reason for the rack project) Then Bottom Right will be my DIY plan for fuel mounts to keep Gas "outside of the hotel room"

I'm back from deployment, ordered the water tank but it still hasn't showed up, then I have the brush wire but I am waiting on mounting them until I figure out what I will do for my front roof rack.....it'll likely be KC then I'll use super Strut for the camper. I did order a ceiling molle board for the cab then got my hands on some more recovery equipment and an extensive 1st aid kit. I really like what I've used in the military so I ordered similar stuff/bought locally at a surplus store for a little pioneer kit (Green Axe)
