Ah bummer. I’d just recommend stocking up on harbor freight things.

that’s the same window that was busted out on my 1st gen before I bought it.

If you don’t replace it yourself, make sure you pull off the door panel and check that the shop replacing it seals the vapor barrier back to the inside sheet metal of the door otherwise you’ll have leaks into the cab on the floor. Ask me how I know.

Yeah luckily the dumb fuck that did it only stole my trail tools that I basically got for free, some straps, and jumper cables. Left all my expensive recovery gear, impact gun, and sun glasses lmao

Lesson learned tho... don't keep stuff in snap on and milwaukee bags in plain view. Partly my fault.

    Bring it.

Pulled the snowblower in the garage yesterday, to make sure it'll start.
Was surprised and proud of myself that I actually summerized it and apparently drained the gas last year.
Filled the gas tank, sumbitch fired on the third pull.
Then noticed the gas dripping from the crack in the fuel line...

I know y'all are sick of it up there but we've still been deprived of snow down here south of Denver. Only a few 1-2" falls so far. I'm looking forward to the 5-9" we're forecasted this round.

ha, I feel that pain. I picked up a used one from a small engine guy and to his credit it started on the first pull and runs great. It also leaks and I forgot everything is belt driven. I need to replace the idler pulley, belts, and tension springs :homer:

Why are nipple sizes different in small engine fuel systems?
The fuel tank was fairly large and a 1/4" line was very snug and required no clamp. But it got one anyway.
The petcock valve on the other end of the same line was lacking in girth and the line was a bit sloppy. Required a special clamp and careful application thereof. Who designs this shit?

Nephew is replacing two tires on his FJ (replacing all four is out of the question)

    Currently is running 285/70/17 E rated KO2s.

Two tires have "decent amount of tread left" and two tires need to be replaced.

Eventually he wants to run C rated (or SL whatever they're calling it these days). So he wants to buy two new 285/70/17 C rated tires to replace the two worn out E rated. The tire shop said this would be no problem.

Asking the TW brain trust their thoughts.

Assuming the diameters of all the tires are close enough, if the kid starts to properly rotate his tires and you have an E on one side of the axle and a C on the other... would that fuck with the differential?

Yay Quickbooks, bastards are forcing online use of their crap product. Otherwise you pay a premium amount for the desktop version with 1/3 of the benefits.
Still buying the desktop version though.

The diff doesn't really care about much in this case aside from the tires outside diameter. As long as they're close I'd run it. The weight difference isnt enough to cause any concerns to me
