Jumping in here at the very end, so forgive me if this has been addressed, but I know my Brothers label maker will do 1” heatshrink (I forgot the exact designation in mm, it’s close to 1”, so I am rounding here). They also make a 3/4” one.

I've researched this and the problem is nobody seems to know which is as stupid as it gets. Just got through reading and Amazon review that said 3/4" tubing will not fit over an RJ45 connector without resorting to using a pair of scissors to stretch it open some more and then it's still a PITA to get it over the connector. So I assume that anything smaller will not work. But lots of people say 1/2" tubing will work. Nobody says "You need this size shrink tubing to fit over an RJ connector. :annoyed:

I mean, you could just put the shrink on before you terminate the cable.

That’s why you’re getting mixed results on “what fits”.

Oh man, I always figured that was just the way it was done. No wonder people are having a "hard" time.

Finally achieved complete interior dechromization. Color-matching the steering wheel emblem to the rest of the kit was the last part I need to finish up. Wasn't happy with the pnp offerings so I stripped the chrome off of all plastic chrome parts then primed/painted/cleared. Used Duplicolor high heat primer (it's what I had already from doing the brake calipers), Duplicolor Perfect Match Magnetic Gray, and Duplicolor's 1K clear. Went MGM because satin black is too boring. In hindsight, doing everything piano black, super white or bronze to match my TE's could have been clean too.

Sorry for the cell phone pic (the glitter in the MGM doesn't pop with the cell pics), can take a higher res one if anyone wants better detail.

Also threw on the complete interior glass/plastic cover kit from Screen ProTech last week. Installed pretty easily and really cannot tell it's on there which is nice. These cover the gauge cluster, headunit screen and shifter selector.

Lastly I popped on the TRD Radiator cap and az's version of a black license plate, so +25hp easy there.

Got lots of cables that are already terminated and lots of patch cables.

I guess nobody has in place wiring that needs to be labeled. I must be weird. o_O

And btw, I apologize. I should never have started this subject here as it's not Taco related. Sorry. :(

    I think so too.

    I used to be you.

I had the accessories first, that I'm adapting to this build. This also lays out a solid electrical plan for the future when I add anything.

    Thanks

I used a Dymo Label Maker. Available on Amazon. They make heat shrink you can print on. The generic version works just as well as the Dymo branded version. I even use the generic labels professionally.

This is a full PowerTrays setup that includes the accessory circuit breakers. 100A for the Blue Sea fuse block and 120A for the switch pros.

I made some brackets for these traction boards. Probably 25 bucks worth of material.

I am an awful welder so I am sure any closeups would he cringe worthy.

Will do some grinding tonight and primer paint

Yeah, it works to good. I'm moving, loading and unloading boxes was a pain in the but. So I took it out until the move is over.

As to what size will fit over a terminated cable, I don’t know off the top of my head, but I’ll check for you when I get home.

A little bit of this, and a little bit of that.
finally got the new shell on the truck, any recommendationsIMG_9765.HEIC.jpg on what to do with the interior of it? its the 5 foot bed (sucks you cant get a 6 speed in the crew cab and 6 foot bed, and cabin space was more important, so i went with the shorty bed) but im kinda just wanting to see what anyone has for ideas on what to do with it now, im relatively new to the community(i just made the account a few hours ago) but ive been a long time lurker. its not the best photo of the truck, but it shows the shell nicely (i think)
