You beat me to it! This is my Midland MXT275 on a Desert Does It under seat mounting bracket that I’m running up to that spot on the dash.

The main issue is the shrink rate, afaik there isn't anything that will slip over the rj45 and shrink tight on the cable itself.

Sure, there is a pretty decent difference of girth between the plug and cable, no doubt.

But apparently they make (RJ45-specific?) shrinky tubes. You just gotta pay the tax to have the right stuff: https://www.digikey.com/en/products/filter/heat-shrink-boots-caps/499

Strain relief boots are also a non-shrinky option: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Platinu...n-Relief-in-Clear-50-per-Bag-100036/301491560

lol, not at all. Most people probably just use the labels that wrap and cover themselves, or just don't label at all. Very few seem to be going for that Professional AF look.

Haha ya and it’s functional. It’s really convenient to have side lights when camp set up is after dark..

Yes, lol. The sticker-bombed cabinet is full of detailing products and random crap too.

I have 4 of these mounted on the wall - they are nice they are powder coated and have predrilled holes every 16" to mount to studs.

Been lurking on here for a while so I've been able to complete a few mods with some advice from this forum. So far I have installed:
    • Spyder Headlights
    • WinJet Tailights
    • Cali Raised hidden light bar
    • LED White/Amber fogs
    • Demon brackets and shackles
    • Heritage grill with raptor lights
    • Smoked switchback mirror turn signals
    • Nexar dashcam
    • Homelink mirror (couldn't believe my mirror didn't have a garage door opener)
    • LED Interior lighting
    • OEM Bed mat
    • Cargo header rail (again, couldn't believe this didn't come from factory)
    • Bed lights
    • Tonneau cover
    • JBL door speakers
    • Kicker tweeters

Looking more for many mods to come, and thanks to everyone on here for their help to this newbie!
