if you used the OEM perch, how much do you think you would lose, im gonna use OEM perch, put not sure if i will need a 1/4 in top plate spacer to give me the amount of lift i want. my shocks are at the shop apart.

The 17-19 Eibach springs are advertised at +1.5" over the stock suspension for a total of 2.5" front lift with stock weight.
The 20-21 Eibach springs are advertised at +1.3" over stock suspension for a total of 2.3" front lift with stock weight.

If you add a 1/4" top plate spacer you will get +.5" over those figures.
If you add the Westcott spring perch only you will get +1" to 1.2" over those figures.

If you've added bumpers/winches/etc you will get less than this.

    Good luck!

I wonder if adding the 1/4 top hat would be the thing to push the shock out of its bypass zone

I'm pretty sure Westcott + Eibach is going to push the shock out of its optimal bypass zone

Tacoma Front shocks have 8 bypass zones in total (5 compression, 3 rebound), per TRD. Changing anything from original design certainly comes with x amount of change. Will you notice or will it matter? Who knows.

FYI I have talked with several members who've added 1/4" top spacers to their otherwise stock pros, that say they didn't feel any difference in ride quality. At least one of them said they they had the installer check shock travel and still had complete compression and rebound travel before topping/bottoming out. Probably best you double check for yourself before sending it.

Sounds like at least there is argument to be made that some flexibility exist in the ride zone.

I’ve only checked the 16-19s Trd pro eibach springs. Loss of travel was about .25ish inch, with the springs alone, and a email from eibach that says the springs didn’t effect any of the bypass zones.:notsure:

just picked mine up from shop, i also added 1/4 top spacer, both sides are equal,, i have a 1 inch rear block. front is about 1 inch higher, im sure it will settle some, when it does settle, i will raise back up to match front, but will take block out and add new leaf packs when they are available..i will post pics tomorrow,

I just got word that my 2021 pro lift kit is headed to my house. Think I should have Toyota install them to avoid a warranty mishap, or do y'all think I'm safe doing them myself or having a third-party mechanic install them?

Is there a springs-only option for online ordering or do we need to call in? I searched the Eibach site but it doesn't show up

Yes, you can do springs only option if you call in. As this is happening real-time you all are the first to know. They are not available on the site yet. I would really like to get our TSB owners handled right away.

EDIT: Site is updated with just front springs.
