KY has been hit almost three weekends in a row with out of the ordinary snow storms, so right now my truck looks as bad if not worse OP.

I agree with hitting up the self-serve carwash and just blasting off what you can when you find time. It won’t hurt anything, just give it a through cleaning when you’re able. Just don’t slip on ice while at the carwash, almost gave some people a laugh trying to wash mine the other day.

Even heated water will freeze on a cold truck body and you'll have a nice glaze of salt under the ice! Yeah it looks like S*** but it won't hurt any thing. I'm in Maine it actually warmed up it was only -8 this morning

My truck looks like this on the regular here in Ohio. The Rust Belt is not just a colorful name lol.

Bonus though, today I pulled into the self spray and found almost a full 2 minutes still left from previous occupant. So my truck got 1:47 of bath time today for free.

Not sure what the big deal is… been like 15 or below for a month haven’t washed my vehicles. Welcome to Vermont. Believe it or not they design them to handle this stuff!

Went to the $2 self car wash and spent $4 altogether to power wash...then rinse my Sport today. Looks decent enough with that whiteness salty crust washed off.

    It's what ONE can tolerate.

Not saying it's a bad thing if it doesn't bother the owner...it's a preference.

For Me, I did not like the build-up against the Midnight Black color underneath. I cruised by the self-wash and saw stalls open and thought...this will take 5-10 minutes...let's do it!

    Best $4 bucks spent today!

Unfortunately they didn’t really design the frame to handle this stuff.

This is when I'll stop complaining about the 110+ degrees in summer and total seasonal rainfall of 5"where I live. Haha!

    I lived on Oahu/Hickam AFB for 4 years...Highs in the 80s...Lows in the 80s. (1999-2003)

Right around Christmas (because we lived in Europe) it was kinda "off the wall" to be walking around in slippers/flip-flops when it should be cold.

I'm from SoCal/LA and live on the east coast now since 2006...with a tour to Italy & 365 TDY to Iraq in between to get me to military retirement in 2011.

I love 4 seasons...and having Delaware beaches from May to August/September to goto the beach.

I also lived in Arizona and do appreciate dry heat as opposed to humidity heat like on the gulf coast. It does get humid here in Delaware but not as bad as the south.

Mine looks like that from December to April. I spray it with fluid film each fall and it doesn’t get a bath until it’s warm out. I have so much salt caked over my truck there isn’t enough oxygen under all of it to support oxidation.

Yea, it's rough. This is my first winter in Utah and it's pretty frustrating how dirty the truck gets. Also how quickly things start to get surface rust. My wife and I go snowboarding every weekend and it seems like the following day there's new surface rust to remove. Definitely getting it Coated next season. Highly recommend getting a power
washer as well. Gives me so much peace of mind.
